She has his back! OutDaughtered star Danielle Busby helped her husband, Adam Busby, look good for the camera after he injured his head during their home renovation.

“Gotta cover that gash,” the proud dad wrote on a video shared to his Instagram of his wife putting makeup on his wound while filming for their hit TLC show on Thursday, August 13.

On August 9, Adam revealed he had an accident while remodeling his home. “When you aren’t quite used to the new light fixtures that were installed while you were out of the house. Totally walked right into the biggest on that hangs over our table (because the table wasn’t put back under it) The corner hit me square in the forehead,” he wrote on Instagram with a photo of him bleeding. “After the pain subsided, I could laugh about it.”

Although the reality star seemed to be a good sport about his renovation faux pas, he clapped back at a troll who questioned his judgment. “Nothing negative, asking a legitimate question. Why would you have a light fixture soo low like that?” one user commented on his post. “It goes over the table. They didn’t move the table back after installing it,” he simply replied.

Adam and Danielle, who share quintuples Ava, Olivia, Hazel, Riley and Parker and an older daughter, Blayke, have been keeping fans updated on their construction and other issues in their home.

The couple previously revealed they had temporarily moved out of their home in December 2018 in order to make several repairs. In a June 2019 episode of OutDaughtered, the parents shared how they discovered the “whole upstairs [seemed] to be covered with mold” after Ava got sick.

“We are still living this ‘mold house’ life and hoping our home can be complete soon,” the Busbys exclusively told In Touch in September 2019, adding they aren’t “sure yet what the future holds with [their] living situation.”

Danielle was thrilled to show fans renovations were finally underway in a June 2020 Instagram video. She took her followers on a tour of her home to show off their progress.

It looks like Danielle and Adam can handle anything!
