Ouch! OutDaughtered star Adam Busby clapped back at a troll after injuring his head on a light fixture during his family’s home renovation.

“Nothing negative, asking a legitimate question,” someone wrote in the comments on Adam’s Instagram. “Why would you have a light fixture soo low like that?” In response, the reality star bluntly wrote, “It goes over the table. They didn’t move the table back after installing it.” Mic. Drop!

On August 10, Adam, 38, shared two photos of himself, one of which showed him bleeding. “When you aren’t quite used to the new light fixtures that were installed while you were out of the house,” he captioned the shots. “Totally walked right into the biggest [one] that hangs over our table (because the table wasn’t put back under it). The corner hit me square in the forehead. After the pain subsided, I could laugh about it. #itsabuzzworld #remodel.”

The dad of six — who shares quints Ava, OliviaHazelRiley and Parker and an older daughter, Blayke, with wife Danielle Busby — has been candid about his family’s house issues.

In December 2018, the couple revealed in a YouTube vlog they had temporarily moved out in order to solve several problems. A June 2019 episode of the show revealed Adam and Danielle, 36, discovered the “whole upstairs [seemed] to be covered with mold” after Ava got sick. In September 2019, the famous family exclusively told In Touch they weren’t “sure yet what the future holds with [their] living situation.”

As of June 2020, however, renovations were finally underway. Danielle took fans on a mini-tour through their pad on June 22. The brunette babe walked her followers through her kitchen and mudroom, which included the cute cubbies for all six little girls. The following day, her husband showed off more of the work-in-progress.

“OK, kitchen remodel is still underway, and it’s a hot mess still in this kitchen, but look at my island! Look at the detail!” Danielle gushed. “So stinking cute.”

Just a word to the wise, Adam … watch out for those lights!
