No frauds! 90 Day Fiancé stars Ashley Martson and Jay Smith are in the middle of a divorce, but fans aren’t quite buying it because they are known for fudging the truth a bit in order to not spoil their storyline for season 4 of the TLC spinoff 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Ashley took to her Instagram Story over the weekend and answered questions from some of her fans.

And of course, they had tons of questions about her estranged husband, Jay.

One fan asked, “How f–king over it are you with people saying you and Jay are still an item?”

“Over it! I’m not gaining anything by saying I’m separated when I’m not,” Ashley wrote.

“For all that think it’s for attention, I would stay with him so I can do future shows and stay in the limelight,” she explained.

“Filing for divorce not once, but twice, is the dumbest thing anyone could do if it’s just for attention!” she said.

“Yes, I had a change of heart and went back and tried to fight for my marriage the first time,” she admitted.

“We are on good terms and still so filling applications we agreed to do,” she added.

Another fan asked Ashley if she was still in love with Jay despite their split.

“He will always have a place in my heart,” Ashley wrote.

“I learned a lot from him,” she added.

“It’s time to move forward and not carry the hurt with me,” she continued.

“People make mistakes. I know the things I did when I was 21 that I’m not proud of. I hurt people,” she admitted.

Ashley and Jay have had a pretty rocky relationship ever since they tied the knot a year ago.

She struggled with trust issues after Jay’s Tinder cheating scandal, and she eventually filed for divorce in January 2019. But she had a change of heart and she withdrew the paperwork less than two weeks later.

After Jay’s second alleged cheating scandal in April, Ashley filed for divorce for the second time.

But fans were confused when Ashley and Jay reunited a handful of times since the filing: they attended a 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? premiere party in NYC on April 28, then they reunited on May 8 for a wedding photo shoot and they also reunited on the weekend of May 11 to film the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? tell-all.

Ashley and Jay both explained that all of their appearances were paid obligations that they had already agreed to before their breakup.
