Friendly exes? 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?stars Ashley Martsonand Jay Smith reunited for the first time since Ashley, 32, filed for divorce. But the estranged couple seemed to be in good spirits at the season 4 premiere party for the hit TLC reality TV series. Ashley even posed for photos with Jay, 20, and they were both all smiles. As In Touch previously reported, Ashley filed for divorce from the Jamaican native for the second time on April 23 after she accused him of cheating on her for a second time.

Just days later, the Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania native jetted off to New York City to celebrate her birthday with a weekend-long celebration.

But the exes would have to run into each other sooner than either of them may have hoped, because they were obligated to attend the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 4 premiere party in NYC together.

And even though the details of their split seem messy, they were still able to hang out together and pose for pictures while smiling.

The former couple struggled with infidelity issues early on in their marriage, and Jay’s first cheating scandal was documented during 90 Day Fiancé season 6.

Just days after Ashley and Jay returned home from their elopement ceremony in Las Vegas, she learned that he had created a Tinder profile and he had allegedly been using it to meet and talk to other women in the area.

Jay did not physically cheat on Ashley, but she claimed he was having inappropriate conversations with other women and he had allegedly planned on meeting up with one of them. Either way, it was enough to betray her trust.

Even though the couple stayed together after the first cheating scandal, Ashley still struggled with trust issues. That’s what led her to file for divorce from Jay for the first time on January 11, 2019, but she had a change of heart and
on January 22.

The couple seemed to be trying to work through their issues until earlier this month when Ashley took to Instagram to accuse Jay of cheating on her again.
“It’s all fun [and] games until your ass gets deported,” she wrote in a now-deleted Instagram Story post back on April 15. “Have fun at the strip club with MY money and MY car you’re driving around without a license!”

Just one week later, Ashley filed for divorce and she cited adultery as the reason for their split, according to documents obtained by In Touch.

Shortly after Ashley publicly accused Jay of cheating on her, rumors started swirling, claiming that Jay allegedly cheated on Ashley and got another woman pregnant.

In an exclusive statement to In Touch, Jay denied impregnating another woman and addressed the cheating claims.
“Well I got no one pregnant that is a lie right there,” Jay exclusively told In Touch. “And for everything that’s happening there is always two [sides] of the story and [a] reason why it happens, but it’s just not my place to speak on that.”

Even if Jay didn’t get another woman pregnant during his marriage to Ashley, the blonde beauty still hinted that something serious went down between her and Jay before she decided to file for divorce, and this time it seems like she’s not going to change her mind.

“It was very dramatic, very messed up,” she exclusively told In Touch at the Hemp Garden CBD infused MASK skincare launch in New York City on Thursday, April 25. “But I am sure America is going to be shocked.”

Despite the fact that her marriage didn’t end well, Ashley explained that she wouldn’t take anything back.
“I don’t regret doing any of it because I loved him, and you live and you learn,” she added.
