’90 Day Fiancé’ Star Ashley Says She ‘Pushed Through’ Awkward Wedding Photo Shoot With Jay
Keeping it civil! 90 Day Fiancé stars Ashley Martson and her estranged husband, Jay Smith, reunited for a wedding photo shoot on May 8, amid their ongoing divorce. Ashley recently filed for divorce again, making it pretty awkward for the exes. While chatting with In Touch exclusively, Ashley revealed that she and Jay “pushed through” the shoot the best they could.
As fans may recall, people didn’t know what to expect when the TLC star first uploaded the stunning portraits to her Instagram Stories, but she later explained that they were contractually obligated to do the photo shoot. So, how did the former flames feel about getting all cozy in the snaps? “Um, we pushed through it like we normally would,” Ashley, 33, exclusively told In Touch.
Ashley and her ex, Jay, 20, dressed to impress for the special occasion. She wore a stunning white gown with her hair curled and makeup professionally done, while he opted for a perfectly tailored suit. The photographer, Kiamarie Stone, shared the images with In Touch and said Jay and Ashley were “a joy” to work with. The venue and host for the shoot was @rosewood_farms, while florals and styling were done by @fayeandrenee, and the glam was the work of @daniellesbeautystudio.
It’s been a rollercoaster ride for Ashley and Jay over the past few months. Ashley officially filed for divorce from Jay on January 11, but seemingly changed her mind and withdrew the paperwork on January 22. It didn’t take long for Ashley to file for divorce again — just days before the former couple was set to star on season 4 of the hit TLC spinoff. As of now, the couple is broken up and Jay is no longer living with her. Despite everything that’s transpired between them, they are “civil.”
And just to be clear, Ashley said she’s not financially supporting Jay. “No, he’s kind of his own right now,” she told In Touch. The reality star apparently has no interest in working things out. When asked if there was anything Jay could do to get her back, Ashley said, “Nothing at this point.”
