’90 Day Fiancé’ Star Ashley Is ‘Getting to Know’ a New Man Amid Divorce From Jay

As In Touch previously reported, Ashley filed for divorce from Jay on Tuesday, April 23 — just one month before what would have been their 1-year wedding anniversary.

The couple was first introduced to fans on season 6 of TLC’s hit reality TV series 90 Day Fiancé, and they are set to star on season 4 of the spinoff 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?

During 90 Day Fiancé season 6, Ashley and Jay documented their journey down the aisle after they obtained a K-1 visa (a.k.a. the fiancé visa). The K-1 visa allows a foreigner to enter the United States as the fiancé of an American citizen, and the couple is supposed to get married within 90 days. If the couple does not get married at the end of the 90 days, the foreigner would have to return to their home country. If the couple does marry, the foreigner would be allowed to legally live in the U.S. with a green card.

Jay traveled from his native country of Jamaica to Ashley’s hometown in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania and began their wedding planning, but they experienced issues very early on in their relationship.

Before Jay arrived in America, Ashley and her childhood friend Natalie visited him in Jamaica, where Natalie claimed she heard Jay say that he was sleeping with two other women while he was engaged to Ashley.

But since the couple was still long distance at the time, Ashley turned a blind eye.

“Maybe I don’t care what Jay does when I’m not over there. What he does in Jamaica when I’m not there is not my business,” she said at the time. “Honestly, if Jesus came down from heaven right now and said he cheated on me, I wouldn’t do anything about it. But if Jay cheats on me here in the U.S., I would have to send him packing and back home.”

But it didn’t’ take long for Jay to betray Ashley’s trust once he arrived in America.

Just one day after the couple returned home from their elopement ceremony in Las Vegas, Ashley claimed that Jay cheated on her after he created a Tinder profile and he had allegedly been using it to meet other women in the area.

Even though Jay didn’t physically cheat on Ashley, she claimed that he was having inappropriate conversations with another woman and had made plans to meet up with her.

Ashley ultimately decided to forgive Jay, but the couple still struggled with issues in their marriage.

On January 11, 2019, Ashley filed for divorce from Jay for the first time. She later withdrew the paperwork on January 22.

Just three months later, Ashely took to Instagram to publicly call Jay out for allegedly cheating on her again. Two weeks after Jay’s second cheating scandal, Ashley filed for divorce for the second time.

Now, an insider close to Ashley exclusively revealed to In Touch that she has already moved on with someone new and they are getting to know each other.

Even though Ashley is dating her new mystery guy, the source insisted that the relationship is “nothing serious.”
