New Family Tradition? ‘Sister Wives’ Star Christine Brown Tries Out Axe Throwing — Just Like Meri!
They’re all getting in on this hobby! Christine Brown shared photos from an axe throwing outing on July 4, but she’s not the first Sister Wives star to give the exercise a shot — fellow wife Meri Brown tried it back in May, too. “Axe throwing champions,” Christine, 47, captioned photos of herself and her youngest, Truely Brown, trying out the hobby. “Seriously, I hit the bull’s eye once!! Then the ground. Over. And. Over. #axethrowing #july4th.” LOL.
On May 31, Meri, 48, also shared a picture on Instagram from when she gave axe throwing a chance. “Just a little axe throwing, because hey, why not??” the first sister-wife of the Brown family wrote at the time. “This may have to be a new little hobby, I quite enjoyed it.” She also tagged the Backyard Axe Throwing League — did Christine go to the same place?
When Meri posted her photo, some fans wondered if Meri was getting some aggression out. One asked, “Who’s in the bull’s eye?” and the reality TV personality set the record straight, replying, “No one. That’s kinda morbid.” She later directly addressed such comments on Twitter. “Why do people assume I was thinking of someone while I was axe throwing?” the Meri tweeted. “Ugh, that’s just morbid, people! 
.”
Christine didn’t appear to get similar comments on her axe throwing Instagram post. Instead, several fans commented on how great she looks these days. “You look amazing. Keep up whatever you’re doing,” one fan replied. Another responded, “You are beautiful inside and out! And you are the funniest person in your family. You know how to have fun!”
So who’s going to be the next Brown family member to try axe throwing? Kody Brown, perhaps? It might help him get the stress of juggling four wives, 18 children, and a TLC reality series out of his system.
