They’re working through things. Meri and Christine Brown from TLC’s Sister Wives had a couple of tough conversations about their relationship throughout season 13 of the show, and during part 2 of the tell-all, host SuChin Pak asked for an update. Christine, 47, admitted that things still aren’t perfect, and watching past conversations between them about their sister-wife relationship is tough.

After playing a clip of an intense chat between Meri, 48, and Christine, SuChin asked how they both feel now, and Christine replied, “We hate watching that conversation, are you kidding? We’re still working on it. We’re still working on things, honestly. It’s not at the best situation. It’s not. Even if we were completely over it and better, watching things like that always brings it back up.”

SuChin then asked for Meri’s perspective, and Kody Brown’s first wife responded, “It’s not like it’s something that we’re like … throwing away. It’s just a matter of, when are we both gonna be ready to like, move toward something different?”

On the episode of the reality series that previously aired on February 24, Christine admitted that she doesn’t have a great relationship with any of her fellow wives. But in particular, she seemed to be really struggling with her relationship with Meri. “We don’t talk,” she said at the time. “We don’t have any sort of conversations. Nothing real.”

Then in March, Christine and Meri were on the same LuLaRoe cruise but appeared to totally avoid each other despite being family members. There were also almost no photos of the wives together on their Instagram accounts as of late March 2019, aside from shots where other people were present.

If these two have improved their relationship at all since they had that rough conversation all those months ago, it certainly isn’t reflected on their social media accounts. If they’re “still working on” their connection/friendship/sister-wife bond, it seems like they’ve both still got a lot of work to do.
