Is there a divide in the polygamist family? Kody Brown‘s first wife, Meri, is reportedly distancing herself from his three other wives, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn. Meri apparently doesn’t follow the other women on social media while they still follow her, so there’s speculation tension is brewing.

As Radar pointed out, Meri has been regularly updating her two Instagram accounts with new content, Lularoemeribrown which is verified and MeriBrownOriginal, which is not verified, but neither account follows Robyn or Janelle. Rumors have been swirling that Meri was leaving Kody and her life as a sister wife behind, but as far as we know, they’re still together and she’s still with the family. Interestingly, Kody, Meri, and the other wives recently packed up all their belongings and left Las Vegas, where they had been living for years, to move to Arizona.

“Last week on move-out day, literally minutes before we pulled out, my friend grabbed her phone and said ‘you need a picture!’ I’ll have to find the one we have in about the same spot on move-in day almost 6 years ago and compare! 🙂 I actually love this picture,” Meri, 47, captioned the snap of her and Kody, 49, outside their previous home. Meri was the only one legally married to Kody, but they got divorced a few years ago so that he could legally marry his youngest and fourth wife Robyn. This meant he could adopt her children from a past marriage. The other marriages are considered as “spiritual unions.”

It appears the family was looking forward to a fresh start. “As much as we’ve loved making our home and memories here in Las Vegas, we are excited to embark on a new adventure in Flagstaff, Arizona! We are looking forwards to cooler temperatures, the mountain air, scenic views, and the slower lifestyle of Flagstaff,” the reality stars told People. We’ll have to see how this all turns out!
