Mother-Approved! Matt Roloff’s Mom Says His GF Caryn Chandler Takes ‘Such Good Care of My Boy’
The seal of approval! Matt Roloff‘s mom, Peggy Roloff, commented on Caryn Chandler‘s sweet birthday tribute to her son, and it’s clear she adores his longtime girlfriend.
“That smile tho … 😁,” the Little People, Big World star, 52, captioned the sweet shot of her man. “My guy is having a birthday today — he wanted something low-key, so I’m cookin’ up a Tri-Tip dinner. Happiest Birthday to you, Matthew James.” In response, his mama chimed in, “Yes, you take such good care of my boy. I was there when he entered this world and the world hasn’t been the same!!!” Even Caryn’s daughter, Brittany, got in on the commenting and wrote, “Happy happy birthday, @mattroloff Thank you for being so good to my mama & our family.” Aww!
Unfortunately, not everyone is as thrilled with their relationship. After the brunette beauty attended Audrey and Jeremy Roloff‘s gender reveal party, people had some thoughts. “I don’t understand why Caryn is involved, she isn’t family,” one person fumed, while another added, “Wow Matt your girlfriend sure screamed so loud … wheres GRANDMOM at???”
Sigh. They were referring to Amy Roloff, of course, who was, indeed, at the event. “Amy is in the left corner [taking] pictures,” one person clarified, while a second said, “For all the sour Sallys who came here to jump all over this man about not seeing Amy etc. … if you took the time, you would clearly see she is front and center with a camera most likely taking her own video … He is sharing a happy moment in his family’s life, sit back and enjoy.” Mic. Drop.
Amy recently got engaged to her longtime man, Chris Marek, after dating for several years. “I never in a million years thought I’d be getting married again, but I also hoped for it!” the mother of four told People in September. “Now that it’s happening, I couldn’t be happier or more excited.”
As for Matt, well, he’s thrilled for his ex-wife. “My buddy Ty and I got together for our regular Saturday morning breakfast today,” Matt wrote on a photo he shared of himself and his friend. “He doesn’t do social media … so I filled him in on Amy’s exciting engagement news. Congratulations to Amy and Chris!!”
So, will the TLC patriarch be next? Only time will tell!
