There’s always got to be drama with the Roloffs. Matt Roloff shared a video from Jeremy and Audrey Roloff’s baby No. 2 gender reveal, and a lot of Little People, Big World fans are not happy that his girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, attended the event. “The big news is out!!” Matt, 57, began the caption of a clip he posted on August 18. “Grandpa is going to have another new grandson. Next Farmer generation well underway … here we go! #dreamsdocometrue #hesaboy #grandpaguessedright.” Caryn was in the video, and fans left comments like, “Where was Amy? This is her grandchild, not Caryn[‘s].”

Other people commented with nasty remarks like, “I don’t understand why Caryn is involved she isn’t family” and “Wow Matt your girlfriend sure screamed so loud … wheres GRANDMOM at???” Several people continued to question where Matt’s ex-wife, Amy Roloff, was during the celebration. “Congratulations. Why wasn’t Amy included?” Someone wrote. Another follower said, “Why do something like this and exclude Amy? I just feel very bad for her. DIVORCE SUCKS!!!!”

However, others pointed out that Amy, 54, did seem to be present for the big moment. “Amy is in the left corner [taking] pictures,” one person commented. Someone else said, “For all the sour Sally’s who came here to jump all over this man about not seeing Amy etc. … if you took the time, you would clearly see she is front and center with a camera most likely taking her own video … He is sharing a happy moment in his family’s life, sit back and enjoy.”

It’s worth noting that Amy herself was not particularly pleased when she discovered that Matt was bringing Caryn with him to their other daughter-in-law Tori Roloff‘s first gender reveal party, specifically because Amy didn’t invite her boyfriend, Chris Marek, out of respect for their family. “Seeing Caryn here threw me for a loop more than I would have liked,” she admitted in a confessional on the TLC show during a previous season. “I think coming here to this particular event is an intimate family thing … It just throws a whole different dynamic to my life here on the farm.” Maybe all of the naysayers are just following her lead?
