‘LPBW’ Star Caryn Chandler Reveals the ‘Low-Key’ Way They’re Celebrating Matt Roloff’s Birthday
Happy Birthday, Matt Roloff! The Little People, Big World star’s girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, took to Instagram on Monday, October 7, to reveal how they’d be celebrating his big day.
“That smile tho … 😁,” the 52-year-old wrote. “My guy is having a birthday today — he wanted something low-key, so I’m cookin’ up a Tri-Tip dinner. Happiest Birthday to you, Matthew James.” *Cue the awws!*
In the comments, one person wrote, “What a guy! I’m so happy you two are simply enjoying the day! Yep, that charming smile!” Caryn’s daughter, Brittany, even got in on the commenting and wrote, “Happy happy birthday, @mattroloff! Thank you for being so good to my mama & our family,” and Matt’s mother, Peggy, chimed in, “Yes, you take such good care of my boy. I was there when he entered this world and the world hasn’t been the same!!!” He’s mother and daughter-approved, y’all.
The two have been going strong for years, however, not everyone is thrilled with their relationship. Not long ago, online trolls accused Caryn of being a “gold digger.” Sigh. “She is only a gold digger. You need to wake [up], Matt. Can’t stomach Caryn,” someone fumed back in 2018. Another agreed, “She is a money grabber! Tramp not worth being with.” Jeez. A third chimed in, “Same old same old. Older man and younger woman. It’s always for the money. When will these men wise up? And why do all the women stick up for a man that left his wife for another woman? No haters, please. We women have to stick together.”
Matt’s ex-wife, Amy Roloff, got engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Chris Marek, in September. So, will Matt, 58, be ready to propose any time soon? Only time will tell! In the meantime, he’s thrilled for Amy. “My buddy Ty and I got together for our regular Saturday morning breakfast today,” Matt wrote on a photo he shared of himself and his friend. “He doesn’t do social media … so I filled him in on Amy’s exciting engagement news. Congratulations to Amy and Chris!!” Now that’s what we call amicable exes!
