‘Little People, Big World’ Star Amy Roloff Is Engaged! Chris Marek Pops the Question
We’re so excited for you, Amy Roloff! One night after she celebrated her birthday, her man, Chris Marek, popped the question. The two confirmed the news to People. “I’m excited, I’m so surprised, I’m thrilled!” the Little People, Big World mama said. “I never in a million years thought I’d be getting married again, but I also hoped for it! Now that it’s happening, I couldn’t be happier or more excited.”
While sharing details, Chris revealed that it was a very special moment — and he picked a very special ring. “I was very nervous!” he admitted. “It had to be a heart shaped diamond because I knew that’s what Amy wanted.” Fans will get to see the proposal play out for themselves on the TLC show when Amy, 55, says yes.
And don’t worry, LPBW fans. It’s definitely real this time. Back in July, the couple sparked engagement rumors when the mom of four was spotted wearing a sparkly stone on her ring finger on Instagram Live. “Ms. Amy. I spotted a beautiful ring on your finger during your live chat … hmmmm?” a fan asked in the comments of one of her posts. The star, however, was quick to clear the air. “No big news. It’s a ring I had remade from a ring I already had. It’s on my right finger,” she spilled, revealing that the mirroring from her selfie cam was what made it seem like she had an engagement ring on her left. It’s a mistake more than one fan has made.
Their relationship has been marked by all kinds of romantic road trips as they zoom around the country on Chris’ motorcycle. Though fans haven’t always been Chris’ biggest supporter, Amy doesn’t worry about what anyone else thinks. “What a wonderful guy!” she gushed in early September after another ride through Oregon. “We make for good riding partners, ❤️” she told her followers in August. “I think Chris and I will be riding for a long time together.”
