They seem to get along well! Matt Roloff and his girlfriend’s daughter, Brittany Chandler, had a cute conversation in the comments of his July 25 Instagram post that featured his grandson, Jackson Roloff. “This farmer’s smile … makes me smile too!” the Little People, Big World star captioned the shot. Caryn Chandler’s daughter then replied in the comments, “That’s the cutest smile I’ve ever seen in my life.” Matt cheekily responded, “Why thank you, Brittany … His smile is pretty good too. LOL.” Ha!

The conversation is a nice distraction from some Roloff drama that’s been going down on Instagram in recent days. For instance, Matt’s son Jeremy Roloff revealed on Instagram on July 23 that he would like to purchase a farm, writing that he was “totally re-inspired to eat healthier, consistently exercise and to buy a farm. 💪🏼.” However, when a fan asked him, “Why not your family’s farm?” he responded, “Very expensive.” That led several fans to slam Matt for seemingly putting Roloff farms out of his son’s reach. “So Matt would rather sell the farm to an outsider than see his children run it??” one person wrote in the comments of Jeremy’s post.

Another person wrote in the replies, “How sad. The farm should always [be] in your family. Hard to believe your parents aren’t making sure you all can raise your children there. Unreal.” Yikes.

At least in the midst of all that, Matt is still able to joke around with family and friends. On July 25, he also shared a video Caryn took of him playing with Baby J and his cousin, Ember Roloff, and they all seemed to be having a grand old time. The same day, he posted a picture of his partner playing with the grandkids and wrote that she was “totally 110 percent engaged in her babysitting duties.” Are they trying to paint themselves in a different light for followers with these cute conversations and baby pics? Only the couple knows for sure!
