Damage control? Little People, Big World star Matt Roloff shared a photo of his girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, playing with his grandkids Jackson and Ember Roloff following days of online backlash about her. “Once again totally 110 percent engaged in her babysitting duties,” Matt, 57, captioned the post on Instagram. “Jackson discovered my secret toy drawer today stuffed full of collectibles … and other fun surprises that Caryn loaded in. Old school toys really do still intrigue the new generation!! :)).”

The picture came after several instances of online backlash against Caryn in July. For instance, on July 21, she was slammed by some fans for calling Baby J her “favorite.” When his mom, Tori Roloff, shared some super cute photos of her son, Caryn commented, “He my [sic] favorite peach.” That led one fan to criticize, “With grandbabies, there are no favorites.” But thankfully, some people came to Caryn’s defense, with one fan responding, “She didn’t say he was her favorite grandchild. She said he was her favorite peach.” Lighten up, people!

Plus, there was that time Matt shared a photo from a date night with his partner, and followers wrote nasty comments in the replies like, “I can’t stand the backstabbing Karen [sic]!” and “She’s using you for money! [Which] is fine if you find happiness in that!! ❤️” Poor Caryn just can’t catch a break, can she?

Fortunately, most of the comments on Matt’s July 25 post were much more positive. “Haha, can’t hide anything good from kids! Smart Jackson. It looks like Caryn is having fun too. 🌈🌹💙,” one person wrote. Another responded, “She’s a keeper ❤️✅🎀, I bet Jackson is very curious to see these toys.” A different fan also very kindly commented, “You can tell Caryn loves the kids.” No matter what’s going on in the ongoing drama between Matt and his ex-wife, Amy Roloff, we think everyone should be able to agree to come together to love on Jackson and Ember!
