What’s better than a mother-daughter vacation? Well, according to Little People, Big World star Matt Roloff, a mother-daughter-mother’s boyfriend vacation. While Caryn Chandler and her daughter, Brittney, were on their annual cruise, the reality star decided to surprise them. On Saturday, June 29, he revealed his exciting plan on Instagram, sharing the view from his hotel room in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

“Showing you all a photo off my balcony in Cabo (right at the very tip of the Baja peninsula) where the beautiful Sea of Cortez and magnificent Pacific Ocean come together. Waiting for Caryn and her daughter Brittney to arrive. They are on their annual mother-daughter vacation cruise, and I’m going to surprise them when they port in Cabo. Except it’s not such a surprise anymore,” Matt, 57, joked. “Still a very fun rendezvous in a far away land.”

If you’re worried that Matt was crashing the party, though, don’t. On Monday, July 1, he shared a followup with fans, revealing that he, Caryn and Brittney had a great time together. “They made it,” he shared in a second post. “What a fun day. Now we are off to the marina for more adventure.” Caryn even shared a shot from the same moment, this time a selfie that Brittney took. “Look who Britt [and] I bumped into in Cabo!” she teased. It looks like the whole family had a blast — and Caryn and Britt clearly didn’t mind the company.

Lately, the couple has been spending a lot of time with each other — and with each other’s families. Before Matt joined his girlfriend on vacation, she spent time with him and his grandson, Jackson Roloff. The trio took an adorable selfie together as they hung out in Portland, Oregon. Caryn also recently shared that she can’t wait to spend some time with her boyfriend’s other grandchild. Commenting on a sweet photo of Ember Roloff, she wrote, “Sooooo adorbs! Need to [babysit] her ASAP.” How sweet is that? No matter what Matt’s ex Amy Roloff says about funny business happening between the couple before she and her husband split, we just can’t help but ship them.
