Put him on blast! When Sister Wives patriarch Kody Brown decided that it was time for the family to move once more, this time from Las Vegas, Nevada to Flagstaff, Arizona, some of the members of the Brown family tree struggled with the decision. Janelle Brown, one of the wives, even considered staying behind — but Kody put his foot down and said, “We go all together.” But one of Janelle’s sons, Gabriel, seemed to be having just as much trouble with the move as his mom had, if not more. In the Sunday, February 24 episode of the TLC show, fans got to see just how much trouble he was having — and they also got to see his dad call him out on Twitter.

Yep, Kody wasn’t having it when Gabriel kicked up a fuss. And on the social media site, he let his audience know just how he was feeling. “Gabriel is being extremely dramatic,” he wrote, before admitting, “I get it! It’s hard to move away from home. There important things at stake here. It is sad.” When a fan wrote back, “We moved several times as kids. We weren’t even questioned about it. Parents needed/wanted to move. So we moved. End of story! We got over it!” Kody weighed in again. “If I did that… MUTINY! Back in the day, that was how parents did it.”

But not everyone was on Kody’s side on this one. Some of the star’s older children stayed behind in Las Vegas or have since moved away, and it made total sense to some fans that Gabriel would also be dragging his feet when it came to packing his bags for Arizona. “Dramatic? No, he’s actually being pretty legit. He can’t help that he has a dad that wants to move all the time,” snapped one fan.  “I’m not sure your ego doesn’t have anything to do with this move,” clapped back another. “It doesn’t seem like you are considering your kids’ feelings and coming off as a bit of a dictator. #notingoodway” And a third wrote, “This move seems to be self-serving. One of your responsibilities as a parent is to provide stability.”

Luckily, IRL, it seems the family has all settled happily in Flagstaff — and everyone eventually adjusted. “We finally came to a place where we were all at peace with it,” Janelle told Us Weekly. “And the kids have really blossomed here.”
