The Brown Family From ‘Sister Wives’ Officially Bought A New Home In Arizona!
On the road again! The Brown family left their life in Las Vegas, NV behind and moved to Arizona, and on Sept. 4 fans learned they finally bought a new compound there! Radar revealed that the massive family spent $820k on their new property on June 1, and not all of the space was shared equally!
The clerk of court for Coconino County in Arizona revealed to the outlet that the parcel of land was vacant, and has been split four ways. It looks like they have some building to do! Janelle and Robyn each got a 2.42 acre lot for $170k. Kody and Meri bought a 4.48 acre parcel for $180k. And Christine and Kody’s land (which also lists Robyn) cost $300k and was 5.16 acres.
Back in July, The Sister Wives stars spilled the news of their big move to People, saying, “As much as we’ve loved making our home and memories here in Las Vegas, we are excited to embark on a new adventure in Flagstaff, Arizona! We are looking forwards to cooler temperatures, the mountain air, scenic views, and the slower lifestyle of Flagstaff.”
The family actually left fans some hints that they might be considering a move before that. On Fourth of July, Janelle Brown posted a photo from a holiday celebration with the caption, “Had the great fun of attending a small town 4th of July parade in Flagstaff, AZ. Maddie, Caleb, Axel, Savanah, Garrison and I ran away from the heat for a few days. It was so much fun. Plus the temp was in the low 80s! 30 degrees cooler than home!”
When a fan said they were surprised that it’s cooler there, Janelle said, “I’ve heard it said recently that the secret of Arizona is that it’s a secret. We have just recently been exploring there. It’s awesome! So surprising!” Looks like she liked it enough to stay! On July 10 she tweeted about cleaning out the garage, perhaps in preparation for a transition.
And don’t worry, folks, the family is clearly staying together. Despite all of the drama following Meri Brown’s catfishing scandal, she made it clear that she’s still with Kody when a fan asked if they were getting divorced on Instagram. “Uhhhh, did you see the post just three photos back? That’s Kody lol! Don’t listen to tabloid lies! Haha!” wrote Meri. Janelle also recently promised fans that she’s still devoted to her family, and not planning to leave the show or her husband.
It seems like they’re already enjoying the slower-paced life in AZ. Christina has posted several beautiful scenes of their land, while Robyn shared a photo of a deer in her yard! What more could you want?
