Counting On’s Jinger Duggar Says ‘Morning Sickness’ Is a ‘Thing of the Past’ in New Pregnancy Update
Her bun is cooking! Counting On star, Jinger Vuolo (née Duggar) shared an update on her pregnancy journey with baby No. 2 on Monday, June 22.
“It is hard to believe that I am already 18 weeks pregnant. Where has the time gone?” the TLC personality, 26, began on a photo of her and 21-month-old daughter, Felicity. “Morning sickness seems to be more like a thing of the past, and cravings haven’t been as intense as they were in those early days. I’m enjoying my maternity wardrobe and packing away clothes that no longer fit.”
Additionally, the wife to Jeremy Vuolo revealed she’s “felt a little more tired this week” and is making nap time a “necessary addition” to her “daily routine.”
The happy couple was thrilled to reveal they are expecting their second child. “We are so excited. Felicity is going to have a sister,” the duo revealed to People on May 28. “Everything looks great with the baby. We’re so thankful. Had a lot of check-ups and we’re just really, really excited.”
While the pair were elated to share the exciting news, they also opened up about their miscarriage in fall 2019. “The morning after we announced to family that we were expecting, Jinger woke up and, woke me up very early in the morning, saying that she thought she lost the baby,” Jeremy, 32, shared. “We found out later that day that she had. That was very difficult and definitely a trial for us.”
Despite suffering a miscarriage, Jeremy and Jinger can’t wait to welcome their rainbow baby. “Having that little one healthy in the womb, and growing strong, is so exciting,” the former soccer star shared.
Felicity is equally as excited to be a big sister, although she “doesn’t quite understand” what’s going on in her mommy’s tummy. “She comes up to my belly and says, ‘Baby. Baby,’” Jinger gushed.
The proud parents first sparked pregnancy rumors when Jinger accidentally used the hashtag “healthyfitpregnancy” on an Instagram photo with her toddler in March. After fans began to speculate she was expecting, she quickly removed the hashtag from her caption.
