Jill Duggar Flirts Up a Storm With ‘Best Hubby Ever’ Derick Dillard on Instagram
Yes, Jill Duggar, get your man! Though fans of the Duggar family may not be here for the former Counting On star constantly complimenting her husband on Instagram, it never stops her from showing Derick Dillard some love. In their most recent social media exchange, the mom-of-two skipped all that #besthubbyever business and got straight to the good stuff — some serious flirting. After her husband posted a selfie on site, she hopped into the comments of his post to start flirting up a storm.
“Enjoyed checking out the Federal Public Defender’s Office the other day and learning about the work they do!” Derick shared on Instagram. Though the comments were filled with their usual criticisms, references to his on-going feud with Jazz Jennings, and demands that he “get a job,” there was one bright spot among them. One of the first to respond to the pic, she took the opportunity to shower her hubby with compliments and counteract some of the hate. “And lookin’ stellar!” Jill, 27, wrote, adding an applause emoji as well as a heart-eye and blue heart.
Other Instagram users were also focusing on Derick’s looks — but not all of them were so kind. More than a few commented on the fact that the 29-year-old still has braces, and they weren’t exactly impressed. “How long have you had your braces and how much longer will you need them? That darn midline,” wrote one as another weighed in, “I have been wondering this for what seems like over a year. It’s killing me … That midline 😫😫😫” Surprisingly, though, the father-of-two didn’t take any offense. In fact, he even politely responded to them.
“It’s been 4 yrs now; hoping to get them off soon,” he wrote in the comments. “The surgery accidentally moved the midline over, and now there’s not an easy way to make it go back.” Back in 2015, the former reality star underwent an orthodontic surgery. The palatal expansion procedure ended up being more complicated than it initially seemed, especially because Derick was dealing with it as an adult rather than a child. Luckily, it seems he’s back on track to get his health in order — and hopefully, like he said, he’ll be getting rid of that mouthful of metal soon.
