Now that her daughter is almost a year old, fans suspect Jessa Seewald (née Duggar) might be expecting once again. The Counting On star sparked pregnancy rumors after discussing baby names with her oldest son, Spurgeon. On Tuesday, April 7, she took to social media to share their thoughts on the name Alice — and the conversation got fans talking, too.

“I love old names and was talking with Spurgeon about this,” Jessa, 27, shared on Twitter and Facebook. “Me: ‘Do you like the name Alice, for a girl?’ Spurgeon: ‘Alice? That sounds like malice. That is not my favorite name. I prefer speeding-delightning.’”

The interaction was adorable — and part of the Duggar daughter’s ongoing “Sayings of Spurgeon” series — but fans couldn’t help wondering if there was a reason they were sharing their opinions. “Thinking of having another baby?” one fan asked on Twitter. “Kids are so funny. Are you expecting again?” another added. On Facebook, a third chimed in, “But why the name picking? Do you have a secret?” Others wanted to know if they’d missed a pregnancy announcement.

That’s not the only theory on the table, though. One of the other questions the star got was, “So who is having a baby?” While the mom of three might not have baby No. 4 on the way, her younger sister Joy-Anna Forsyth (née Duggar) is pregnant. She and husband Austin Forsyth broke the news in March, revealing they have a rainbow baby due in August.

Joy, 22, and Austin, 26, are expecting another little girl after suffering a tragic miscarriage at 20 weeks with their daughter Annabell Elise. Judging by the name the parents picked out for Gideon’s little sister, we’d be willing to guess a name like “Alice” could be right up their alley. Of course, they’re not the only Counting On couple who’ve taken a shine to “old names.”

Judging by her choice of “Felicity,” Jinger Vuolo (née Duggar) also clearly has an affinity for traditional sounding monikers. And though she and Jeremy Vuolo haven’t announced that baby No. 2 is on the way, they sparked some pregnancy speculation of their own recently. In March, the mom of one accidentally shared the hashtag #healthyfitpregnancy in a seemingly unrelated Instagram post — and when the move made headlines, she edited it out of her caption. It’s hardly confirmation that another Vuolo girl is ready to make her debut, but we could see Felicity loving having a little sister named Alice.
