Yikes! During the Teen Mom 2 episode that aired on Monday, April 22, David Eason prevented his wife, Jenelle Evans, from filming — despite him being fired from the MTV show in 2018 — by sending threatening texts to production. A Bump in the Road
At the beginning of Jenelle’s segment, a message appeared on the screen to explain why MTV couldn’t film with her in North Carolina. Instead, Jenelle’s producer, Kristen, had to speak with her over FaceTime in order to get content for the show.

Important Message
“A few weeks ago, David texted producers that he would show up during any upcoming Jenelle shoots and force production to shut down,” the screen read. “Because of this, MTV crews are no longer able to travel to North Carolina to film with Jenelle.”

Causing Trouble
The TV network cut ties with David ever since he tweeted some controversial comments about the LGBTQ community in February 2018. Since then, producers were told to stop recording if he ever made an appearance during one of Jenelle’s scenes.

Compromise
However, MTV and Jenelle came to an agreement last year and struck a deal — they would travel to her home state of North Carolina to film her segments.

Mom Doesn’t Always Know Best
On the episode, the mom of three explained to Kristen she is still dealing with backlash after her mom, Barbara Evans, said some unsettling comments about Kailyn Lowry in an Instagram Live video.

Crazy Comments
“We’ll all get lit, and we’ll kill Kail,” Barbara shouted in the clip, referring to when Jenelle torched the present Kail sent her. “No comment, no comment.” Shortly afterward, Kristen called Barbara.

It’s Not Too Late to Apologize
“Take me off speaker, are you on Instagram Live?” she asked Barb. “You have to tell Kail that you were joking. There’s a huge s–t storm that you told Kail you wanna kill her.” Later, Barb started the video again and explained it was a joke. “So earlier … and I said that I wanted to kill Kail, and everyone took it out of perspective. I was just doing a joke. Come on, I’ve known the girl for 10 years, that’s like crazy.”

Always Drama Between the Girls
The North Carolina native spoke about how Amber Portwood tweeted about her hubby. “I haven’t even talked to her on a personal level about anything pertaining about my life and my marriage,” she said. “I think it’s ridiculous she can’t reach out to me privately about it, and it shows me the kind of person you are, and I don’t know how I could ever trust her again.”

Judgment-Free Zone
Amber also went on a rant about David on Instagram, so Jenelle retaliated by starting a live stream where she explained that Amber has been in jail before, so she shouldn’t be judging other people’s behavior.

Bad Timing
To make matters worse, Jenelle’s ex Nathan Griffith saw her fight and believed she shouldn’t have custody of their son, Kaiser, anymore. “With her behavior online, her lashing out, her choice of language, her profanity, I don’t think it’s a stable environment,” he said.

Moving On
On Saturday, April 13, Jenelle underwent a tubal ligation procedure to get her tubes tied, according to Us Weekly. David, 30, shared a photo of his girl sitting in a wheelchair outside of what seemed to be a hospital or health clinic.

Supportive Message
“Got my babe a get well soon gift to encourage her to get back on her feet!” he captioned the snap. “It sucks you had to go through this, but at least we got some answers, and you should be all better in no time! I love you so much!”

Getting Better
“She’s healing properly and focusing on her business ventures,” her rep told the outlet at the time. They also added that David “was by her side during the procedure.”

Fam First
At the end of the day, Jenelle is happy that she has her crew by her side. “#Family. After this stressful reunion, I’ve been put through the ringer,” she wrote on Instagram on April 7. “To trust an entire group of people for years, then they turn their back on you and treat you like a puppet is beyond words.”

Grateful
She continued, “Family is everything. I need to make it through my hard times, and I am truly #blessed for what I have today. Didn’t take many pictures but super happy my mom was there by my side to defend everything. Please don’t ever let anyone bring you down, and be strong in whatever you do. #TeenMom2 #ReunionSpecial.”

What Will Happen Next?
Well, it’s unclear why Jenelle felt upset after filming the segment. Was it one of the girls? Was it David? Only time will tell what happens next.
