MTV might be having a serious conversation with Teen Mom 2 star David Eason right now. Amid the controversy he stoked by uploading a photo of wife Jenelle Evans holding an assault rifle — posting the shot one day after the Florida school shooting — the 29-year-old fired off bigoted comments about the LGBTQ community. And in both cases, fans demanded his immediate dismissal from the MTV reality show.

David dropped the homophobic and transphobic slurs in a Twitter argument with another user about the prospect of concealed carry in schools. "It only makes sense to protect our kids the proper way, the only way we know how," David wrote, linking to a news story about a bill to allow concealed carry in South Carolina schools.

"Education is how we protect our kids," said the other Twitter user. "Starts with intentional parenting."

"And just what makes you think you have a right to tell me how to be a parent?" David fired back in a now-deleted tweet. "Because you think you know me? LMAO, why don't you go tell the homo and transgender parents to start teaching their kids better morals. Oh, I forgot, that's supposed to be normal."

That's when a third Twitter user entered the fray, asking David, "Who are you to say what's normal or what's moral? Are you going to teach your children to hate gay and transgender people?"

"No," David responded. "I'm going to teach them not to associate with them or be that way…If you lay down with dogs, you get up with fleas."

And later, David tweeted, "Homophobic? You really lost it now. I'm not scared [of] s–t, especially a homo."

Now even more fans are calling for David to be fired from MTV, even after his gun photo sparked a Change.org petition. "@MTV @Vicom You need to fire @davideportcity after his anti-gay comments," tweeted one. "If Farrah was fired for porn, then he should be fired for his comments."

"I’m not sure how you can continue to allow @davideportcity to spew homophobic, transphobic, and pro-gun BS and not expect to lose viewers," posted another. "I refuse to watch [Teen Mom] as long as he’s allowed on the screen, and I know I’m not alone." MTV has yet to respond to David's social media activity.
