Looking good, Jamie Pilar Chapman! In a new photo shared to Instagram, the Dog’s Most Wanted star is showing off a new pair of boots as she flaunts her fabulous fashion sense. But in addition to loving her fancy footwear, fans couldn’t help but notice something else. The model’s shoes looked like they came straight out of Beth Chapman’s closet. Half-snakeskin and half-black, they’re the perfect combination of fierce and flirty, and commenters were quick to share their love.

“The world’s at your feet. So make sure you are wearing great shoes!” Jamie, 30, captioned her post. In response, one follower wrote back, “Sounds like something auntie @mrsdog4real would say. You look beautiful. 💙” Another chimed in, “This statement reminds me of Beth. ♥️♥️ Great shoes. 👠” A third agreed, adding, “That is definitely something Beth believed in. She always had the most awesome shoes on.”

Over the year, Jamie got more than just killer style tips from her husband’s “bonus” mom. She also got plenty of life advice. After Beth passed, the model shared a personal card the blonde bombshell had given her. “Happy Mother’s Day. May you be showered by love,” the Dog the Bounty Hunter star had written to her daughter-in-law. “I’m so happy you love Leland as much as you do. It makes me feel good to know he will always be loved. Be patient and never go to bed angry. Love you, Mom #2.”

The note wasn’t just a Mother’s Day card, though. It was also the “most personal piece of her” that Jamie still has other than photos and memories. “I know she took the time to find this card. You can tell as you read it,” she noted. “This card means the world to me in ways no one will understand … but she does. Honestly, I think I’ve read this card 2-3 times a day since she gave it to me. … You know, sometimes when I read it I swear I can hear her voice reading the card with me. Then I start crying. No matter how rocky our start was, we sure did make a beautiful finish.”

Since the family’s loss, Jamie seems to have done her best to step and help out when she can. She recently revealed that, despite his grief, Duane “Dog” Chapman has also handled everything with grace. “I wanted to say how proud I am of my father-in-law,” she told fans in early September. “I was worried for him when we were told he had a few interviews this week knowing how hard this has been for him. He’s knocked every interview out of the park. Every time he cries, I’ve cried! He’s handled everything with such grace and strength.” Speaking to him directly, she added, “I know you’re making an angel above so proud. We all are very proud of you! And this whole family loves you very much! ❤️❤️”
