The first teaser trailer for Duane “Dog” Chapman‘s new show, Dog’s Most Wanted, stressed just how serious Beth Chapman‘s cancer battle was. In the second look at the show, which comes nearly a month after Beth’s heartbreaking loss, fans are given a look inside the star’s final days. Before passing away on June 26, the blonde bombshell spent her time with family and friends and, as always, chasing down bad guys. In March 2019, the then-51-year-old star refused to let her health stop her from working, and she held onto that conviction until the end.

“Once you find out that it’s an incurable lung cancer, there’s no stage 5,” Beth, who had previously been diagnosed with stage 4 throat cancer, said in the clip. “If I’m gonna die,” she continues, “I’m gonna die in my boots.” In the rest of the video, she can be seen showing off her hair loss, eating dinner with her family and coordinating her husband’s bounty hunting excursions. “I love her,” Duane, 66, added. “And I’ll do anything for her.”

That statement mirrors what the bounty hunter has said in the past. “She is my rock and my bodyguard. I will do everything I can to keep her here,” he told The Daily Mail in March. “If this were me, I would be a big sissy. But not Beth. … She is still hitting the ground running with me. Beth is determined cancer won’t slow her down. In fact, I am so amazed by Beth’s strength and positive attitude. … The best part of my job is having her by my side on every journey.”

Though Duane will have to go on without her, we hope he’s comforted by the knowledge that he still has plenty of family by his side, both at home and at work. He’s clearly still in mourning, but he’s in good company. The couple’s daughter, Bonnie Jo Chapman, has also been publicly sharing her grief. At Beth’s Colorado memorial, Bonnie Jo, 20 and Duane took solace in spending time with each other and the rest of the crew. Still, there’s no replacement for the bounty hunting beauty. “He found his soulmate,” Bonnie wrote when a fan asked her if her dad would ever remarry. “No one can replace her in his heart. Their love was one of a kind, it made me believe love truly exists.”
