Feel better soon! Bonnie Jo Chapman took to Instagram with a heartwarming message about her father, Duane “Dog” Chapman, on Monday, September 16, sending him love after his recent hospitalization. The Dog’s Most Wanted star unfortunately suffered a heart “emergency” over the weekend and had to receive immediate medical attention.

“Love you, pops,” the 20-year-old captioned her post on Instagram. Bonnie also shared a throwback photo including her late mother, Beth Chapman, who tragically passed away not even three months ago, as well as her siblings. Several of Bonnie’s followers were showing support in the comment section, wishing Duane, 66, a speedy recovery amid his health issues.

Luckily, a representative for the WGN America alum recently shared an update about how he’s doing. “I can confirm Dog is under [a] doctor’s care and is resting comfortably,” they revealed to In Touch. Duane reportedly experienced some chest pains before he was taken from his Colorado abode to consult with a physician. Looking ahead, Duane may have to undergo surgery.

It’s been a tough few months for the reality star, as his beloved wife sadly lost her battle to cancer in June 2019 and she was only 51 years old. Duane previously confirmed the devastating news by taking to Twitter. “It’s 5:32 in Hawaii,” he wrote at the time. “This is the time she would wake up to go hike Koko Head Mountain. Only today, she hiked the stairway to heaven. We all love you, Beth. See you on the other side.”

In August, Duane opened up about his grieving process and revealed how he was coping with his new reality. The TV personality admitted that he “never thought it’d be this bad [without her].” On the bright side, he also confessed that her dogs Lola and Duke have been staying by his side in the wake of her death.

“They’re in Hawaii and I’m in Colorado and I want my dogs cause they know mommy’s not there and they come to me and they just will not leave me,” he exclusively revealed to In Touch.

We’re keeping the Chapman family in our thoughts during this tough time.
