Is Amanda Bynes married? The former Nickelodeon star sparked rumors with fiancé Paul Michael after he shared a photo of their hands, where he wore what seemed to be a gold wedding ring.

But wedding bells haven’t rung yet for the couple. “Amanda is not married,” her attorney, David Esquibias, confirmed to In Touch in a statement.

It wouldn’t be the first time Amanda, 34, revealed big news about her love life via social media. On Valentine’s Day, she announced her engagement to Paul by sharing a photo of the couple holding hands with her large engagement ring on display. “Engaged to tha love of my life,” she wrote at the time.

The engagement was a surprise to fans, since it was the first time the Amanda Show alum had mentioned she was in a relationship. After going public with her beau, Amanda continued to share regular updates with fans and the couple seemed to be going strong.

Just three weeks later, Paul exclusively confirmed the couple’s split in a statement with In Touch. “We did [break up],” Paul said at the time. “I love her though, she’s my best friend.”

On March 9, the Hairspray actress reconciled with Paul and posted two loved-up selfies to prove they were back on.

The following week, Amanda and Paul surprised fans even more when they announced they were expecting baby No. 1 together. Paul shared the news in a now-deleted sonogram photo. “Baby in the making,” he captioned the snap. Amanda also shared a since-deleted announcement. “Baby on board!” she wrote at the time. In May, Amanda’s lawyer clarified she was not pregnant despite her announcement.

Amanda and Paul continued to date in an off-on engagement and sparked split rumors again in June when she deleted photos of her man on Instagram. Despite the ups and downs of her love life, the She’s the Man star revealed she was in a good place in terms of her mental health and education.

“Update: Getting my Bachelor’s degree from FIDM. Taking online classes, trying to get a 4.0 GPA [smiley face emoticon] [graduation cap emoji]. Looking forward to starting my online store in the future #goals,” she shared in May. “Spent the last [two] months in treatment. Worked on coping skills to help with my social anxiety that caused me to drop out of school months ago. Back on track and doing well! I’m now living in transitional living and doing therapy during the week.”
