David Eason ‘Narrowly’ Avoids Jail Time By Paying Ex Child Support Amid Dog Killing Scandal

David, 30, stopped by North Carolina’s New Hanover Civil Court on May 3 for a 9:30 a.m. hearing with his baby mama Olivia, who was joined by her lawyer. The fired MTV star just paid off thousands of dollars owed in back child support, according to Radar.

Zero Balance

As of now, David is current on his “child support obligations,” a court clerk told the site. “He paid his child support. He doesn’t owe any child support of as of today.”

No Penalty

Jenelle’s husband “narrowly” avoided jail time because of it, but the clerk noted how he’s still required to pay child support on a monthly basis going forward.

Tough Times

David’s ex works as a hair dresser to support their 5-year-old son, Kaden. Her fellow colleague at the local hair salon revealed it’s been a struggle as Olivia has been “dealing with him for years.”

Law Troubles

The former flames faced no shortage of drama during the course of their relationship. At one point, she reportedly obtained a domestic violence restraining order against David.

Facing Consequences

“He pleaded guilty to violating the order in 2017, and was sentenced to 12 months of probation,” Radar reports. Fast forward to now, and the drama continues.

Sparking Controversy

David is reportedly being investigated after it was revealed that he shot and killed Jenelle’s dog. The incident was reported on April 30, and a male caller told the police that David was to blame.

Unsettling Details

Jenelle has since shared more details about what happened that fateful afternoon. The Teen Mom 2 star said that David decided to take action after Nugget “snapped” at their two-year-old.

Coming to Terms

The former 16 and Pregnant alum revealed that David took the pup about two acres away from their property and shot her in the woods. Now, she says they are no longer on “talking terms.”

Jenelle said she’s “shocked” and “upset” by David’s actions and has been taking some alone time to clear her head. The reality star also took to Instagram with a statement.

“I’m crying everyday. I love you so much and I’m so sorry,” Jenelle began in her caption. “I’m speechless. You were my side kick and knew the moment I felt bad and would cuddle with me.”

“You still had a lot to learn and a lot to grow from your lessons. Everyday I wake up you’re not here, when I come home you’re not here, when I go to bed… you’re not here. You’re gone forever and there’s no coming back,” the reality star concluded.

David also took to Instagram defending his decision to shoot Nugget, explaining that it wasn’t the first time that it nipped at Ensley. Now, David has deleted his new Instagram account.

On May 3, Jenelle posted another statement on Instagram, clearing up misconceptions about her relationship with David. “I’m not afraid to death of anyone or anything right now,” she wrote.

“Yes, marriage is up in the air at this point,” she continued. “I have only been away from home because I’m still hurt and upset.”
