Get Well Soon! ‘Teen Mom 2′ Star Briana DeJesus’ Daughter Stella Hospitalized

Under the Weather

Briana, 24, took to Instagram Stories with some unfortunate news on April 26, revealing that her daughter Stella is in the hospital. The MTV alum showed support to her baby girl during the visit.

Leaning on Mom

In the first Boomerang clip she posted, Stella is resting on her mom, giving fans a glimpse at her patient wristband. Briana captioned the video with a crying emoji.

Resting and Relaxing

Luckily, it looks like things are starting to look up for the one-year-old. The reality star posted a follow-up where she asks her daughter, “Hey, you OK?” and Stella had the cutest response ever.

Staying Strong

“Yeah!” she said with a big smile on her face. Stella is so brave! Briana sweetly responded, “Of course my baby is OK.”

A Long Road

Briana asked her daughter to say “I love you,” and she did, before giving another adorable facial expression to the camera. Sadly, this isn’t the first time the reality star’s precious baby girl has needed medical attention.

Scary Ordeal

On the February 18 episode of Teen Mom 2, Briana faced some scary surgery woes. Her younger daughter, Stella, has dealt with a myriad of medical issues, and they had to make a trip to the hospital after her health took a turn for the worst.

Hoping for the Best

Luckily, everything turned out OK, but that obviously doesn’t make the experience any easier. “She has some heart condition, she has holes in her heart,” the reality star revealed to Radar back in 2017. “It’s been difficult dealing with Stella right now.”

Making Progress

Briana later shared some amazing news with her followers about Stella’s heart, revealing she no longer had murmurs. “All the holes are closed!” she announced via her twitter in August 2018.

Such a Trooper

Later in August 2018, Briana revealed that Stella had to be hospitalized again. “She has septic arthritis,” she told Radar at the time. “It’s common in kids.”

Rushing to the Hospital

“A few days ago, I noticed Stella was having trouble moving her arm,” Briana revealed on the show. “So, I took her to the hospital. It turns out she had a serious bacterial infection and had to have emergency surgery.” At the time, she said the infection “could always come back.”

Bundle of Joy

Stella is Briana’s daughter shared with ex, Luis Hernandez, and the reality star recently took to social media to put him on blast for not stepping up as a dad.

Coparenting Issues

Briana seemingly called out her former flame for not a being a part of their daughter Stella’s life, even after he moved back to Florida from NYC. She aired her grievances via Twitter on April 23.

New Love

“I’M MAD that Stella opened up quicker to John verses her own father. SAD. @_BriBabyx3 #TeenMom2,” one fan commented, referring to Briana’s new boyfriend, John Rodriguez.

Get Well Soon, Stella

“John speaks to Stella every day via FaceTime. That’s why,” Briana responded, praising the bond they’ve built. The reality star recently gushed over her boyfriend, saying he would be a “great father figure” to her two girls.
