Proud dad moment. Chris Lopez shared his first photo of son Romello Creed amid drama with ex Kailyn Lowry, taking to Instagram Stories with the precious portrait of his new addition being held up by a loved one on Wednesday, September 2.

“Look at my boy [though]!! Say what ya’ll want. Damn, we made some handsome ass kids,” he captioned the photo, clearly complimenting the Teen Mom 2 star.

Kailyn welcomed baby No. 4, her second child shared with Chris, on July 30. Their bundle of joy weighed 8 pounds, 15 ounces, and was 22.5 inches at the time of delivery. The 16 and Pregnant alum later revealed his unique moniker in August.

Even with all of the excitement surrounding their new baby boy, there has been some major turmoil going on between the exes. Kailyn, 28, and Chris have both taken to social media with several cryptic messages following Creed’s arrival.

The TV personality posted about dropping people from her life on August 17, and the struggles of coparenting with a narcissist on August 26. Meanwhile, Chris, 26, seemingly vented his own frustrations with how their relationship has evolved.

“Once [you] let somebody like me detach themselves from [you], you either never get me back or never get the same version of me back,” he posted on August 31. “I stick it out [with] folks ’til I’m beyond fed up. So when it’s wraps, it’s wraps.”

A second quote read, “Some s–t ain’t worth addressing anymore. I’d rather charge it to the game [and] keep it moving,” while a third had the message, “Some people don’t wanna be fixed because being broken gets them attention.”

More recently, Chris shared a screenshot from a FaceTime call with their older son, Lux, proving he has remained in contact with his boys after Kailyn called him out for not being involved enough with their newborn son.

“It is EXHAUSTING to try to get someone to want to be involved … If they wanted to know, they would ask,” the podcast host previously wrote. “If they wanted to be there, they would. You will drain yourself trying to make them want to be a father.”

While it seemed things were looking up for the exes months ago, Kailyn said Chris “won’t commit” to her following their “roller-coaster” relationship in an exclusive interview with In Touch. “He just doesn’t want to be with me,” she shared. “And that’s OK. I need to get to a point where I fully move on and take it for what it is.”
