They’re both moving forward — but Kailyn Lowry’s former boyfriend Chris Lopez is throwing plenty of shade as he does it. On Monday, August 31, the Teen Mom 2 star’s ex took to his Instagram Story to seemingly respond to comments Kailyn has been making about where they stand.

“Once [you] let … somebody like me detach themselves from [you], you either never get me back or never get the same version of me back,” read one text post Chris, 26, shared on his Story. “I stick it out [with] folks ‘til I’m beyond fed up. So when it’s wraps, it’s wraps.” A second slide read, “Some s–t ain’t worth addressing anymore. I’d rather charge it to the game [and] keep it moving.” A third continued, “Some people don’t wanna be fixed because being broken gets them attention.”

While he didn’t mention Kail, 28, by name, the quotes seemed to reference the MTV mom’s own Instagram posts. After seemingly reconnecting with the father of two of her sons — the former couple shares Lux, 3, and Creed, 1 month — and inviting him to attend the birth of their youngest child, the parents have once again found themselves on bad terms. In the weeks since she welcomed baby No. 4 on July 30, she’s posted about dropping people from her life and coparenting with a narcissist.

During an Instagram Q&A she held on August 30, she got even more explicit about their relationship. “[I] don’t remember the last time I heard from him,” she said when one of her followers asked how they were doing. While responding to a second fan, she discussed resisting the urge to send pictures and videos of Creed to his dad.

“I used to do this. I’ve come a long way. It is EXHAUSTING to try to get someone to want to be involved. I got tired,” she said. “If they wanted to know, they would ask. If they wanted to be there, they would. You will drain yourself of trying to make them want to be a father.”

While speaking exclusively to In Touch in August, Kailyn explained that she invited Chris to Creed’s birth because she wouldn’t have “been able to be OK with herself” if she didn’t, but she’s doing her best to put her feelings for her ex behind her. “He just [sic] doesn’t want to be with me. … He doesn’t want to, you know, and, and that’s OK,” she said. “I need to get to a point where I fully move on and take it for what it is. … I think I’m just trying to figure out how to do what I need to do without him.”
