Teen Mom’s Kailyn Lowry Says She Needs ‘Tips’ to ‘Coparent With a Narcissist’ Amid Chris Lopez Drama
Looking for advice. Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry recruited her fans for coparenting pointers amid her ongoing drama with ex-boyfriend Chris Lopez.
“Tips on how to coparent with a narcissist?” one of the 28-year-old’s followers asked her during a Q&A session on Wednesday, August 26, to which she replied, “… I need some tips on this topic as well …”
Kailyn’s shady remark comes one day after Chris, 26, slammed the businesswoman for calling their complex relationship an “entanglement” on the August 13 episode of her “Coffee Convos” podcast.
“My relationship — or I don’t want to call it a relationship. … My entanglement with Chris is so complicated, and it’s so public and, partially, that’s our fault because we do it to ourselves,” she said at the time. The proud mama also revealed she allowed the father to attend the birth of their second son, Creed, on July 30, although she previously said he wouldn’t be invited to her delivery.
Almost two weeks later, the woodworker addressed his ex’s remarks during his own Instagram Q&A on Tuesday, August 25. “Bro, I can’t give advice on something I have no clue about LOL ‘entanglements,’” Chris wrote to a follower who asked for “relationship advice.”
Although Kailyn hoped inviting Chris to the birth and giving their son his last name would encourage him to “step up” as a parent, it doesn’t seem like that has been the case. On August 17, the mother, who also shares 3-year-old son Lux with her ex, shared another cryptic post about dealing with a narcissist.
“You need to get to a point where you are OK being the villain in the narcissist’s story,” @mattphifercoaching said in a TikTok video shared to her Story. “Doesn’t matter if they left you, doesn’t matter if you left them, doesn’t matter if they cheated on you. They are going to spin it as if they are the victim.”
While Kailyn and Chris have always had their issues, the single parent, who is also mother to Isaac, 10, with ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera and Lincoln, 6, with ex-husband Javi Marroquin, explained why she decided to have another child with her on-and-off partner during an exclusive interview with In Touch.
“Ultimately … I wanted more kids and that was still something that mattered to me,” she said. “And this was a full sibling for Lux and I’m, I am capable of raising another child on my own.”
