She’s ready to put the rumors to rest once and for all! Kailyn Lowry seemingly clapped back at claims Creed’s father isn’t Chris Lopez when she shared twinning photos of baby No. 4 with her older son Lux on Wednesday, August 19. The Teen Mom 2 star has slammed the rumors once before, but she took things one step further when she attempted to prove that her two sons with Chris really do look alike.

“Lux,” she captioned the first photo, which was taken by Wendy Darling Photography and Meagan Ready Photography in 2017. “Creed,” she wrote on the second shot, which Britney Toy Photography snapped in August. The pictures show both little boys sleeping and looking seriously precious.

Kail, 28, has also posted similar twinning photos of Creed and big brother Isaac, who she shares with ex Jo Rivera. Fans have additionally noted the resemblance between her fourth son and second son, Lincoln, who she shares with ex Javi Marroquin. But when it comes to claims that Creed doesn’t look like dad Chris, 26, she’s not impressed.

On August 17, she shared a hateful message sent to her by a fan. “Why does the new baby look like Isaac rather than his real brother. LOL. Am I missing something?” they asked. “I mean, Creed looks nothing like [your] last kid, and don’t they have the same dad? I’m confused.”

In response, the MTV mama wrote, “It’s 2020, [and] we are still confused about how genetics work?!? [I’m] confused. Please stop messaging and comment about my son’s [skin] color. Yes, Chris is his dad. But I’m white, so there was a possibility that our child could be white. Imagine that.”

Though Kail didn’t initially announce who the baby’s father was when she first revealed she was pregnant in February 2020, Chris was quickly confirmed to be the dad. Over the following months, she opened up about their relationship and where she and her ex stood as they expected their second child. In case there was any remaining doubt, she even gave Creed his father’s last name despite previously changing son Lux’s last name from Lopez to Lowry.

“My entanglement with Chris is so complicated, and it’s so public,” she said on the August 13 episode of her “Coffee Convos” podcast. “I know that there have been periods of time where I felt like he doesn’t deserve to have his last name passed down. … [But] I wanna do the right thing, even when I’m upset.”
