The shade is real! Teen Mom 2 star Briana DeJesus seemingly called out her baby daddy Luis Hernandez for not a being a part of their 18-month-old daughter Stella’s life on Twitter on Tuesday, April 23 — even after he moved back to Florida from NYC. One fan tweeted at the 24-year-old, writing, “I’M MAD that Stella opened up quicker to John verses her own father. SAD. @_BriBabyx3 #TeenMom2.” The follower implied that Briana’s daughter Stella is much closer with her boyfriend, John Rodriguez, than her own father, Luis.

Many of her followers rallied around the brunette beauty for having to deal with Luis. One person wrote, “So sad that all it would take was a quick FaceTime call every day, but some of these real dads can’t even do that,” while another echoed, “Yup, Stella not opening up to Luis is his own fault. No one else’s. So, be mad at Luis.” A third chimed in, writing, “Nothing to be mad about. He puts in the work to build that relationship and her dad doesn’t. It is what it is.”

On the March 25 episode, Briana admitted that Stella enjoys hanging out with her ex-boyfriend and baby daddy Devoin Austin. “This is nice. She likes Devoin. It’s crazy how Stella doesn’t want anybody else,” Briana told her sister, Brittany DeJesus.

Later in the episode, Briana spoke with Brittany and their mother, Roxanne DeJesus, about Luis’ move and his job prospects. “He found an apartment with a friend,” she told her mom and sister. “His plans always change every time I see him. Supposedly [he has a] DJ job, supposedly [he’s going to be] a welder, a cop. We’ll see if he’s gonna be around or not.”

“When Stella was a newborn, he was there, and what did he do? He never came,” Brittany said. “It boggles my mind that when Devoin walks into the door she runs to Devoin, but if Luis were to walk into the door, she wouldn’t even bother to look. Because even though you lived in New York, you could’ve FaceTimed.”

However, the Florida native was hopeful that Luis could maybe change. “If Luis does what he has to do, then we can definitely be in the same place as me and Devoin are. I just want Stella to be around her dad and get to know her dad,” she said.

Meanwhile, Briana seems to be in a great place with her beau. They started dating at the end of the summer in 2018, but only started talking about their relationship in January 2019. “I’m very happy and my relationship with him is in such a good place,” she told In Touch in January.

John is also a breath of fresh air compared to her previous boyfriends. “I’ve had some bad relationships in the past, and I’ve learned a ton from them, and I’m applying all those lessons to my relationship with Johnny,” she said. “I want this to last, and we’re taking it at the appropriate pace, and I’m excited to see what the future holds.”
