One big happy family? Teen Mom 2 star Briana DeJesus spoke exclusively with In Touch about the relationship her boyfriend, John Rodriguez, has with her daughters. And it sounds like so far, things are going great. “He would definitely be a great father figure to them,” the reality TV series star said. So sweet! Check out our gallery below to learn more.
Briana, 24, and John, 27, first went Instagram-official in September 2018. And it sounds like their relationship is going very well!

The couple has been somewhat private about their relationship so far. But Briana was willing to chat with In Touch about how things are going.

So Sweet!
“John is very sincere and genuine and he’s so kind and sweet and thoughtful,” Briana gushed. Isn’t that what everyone wants and deserves from a partner?

Briana continued, “He recently got an artist to put together a painting of Stella and I, and his note attached to it literally melted my heart.” OK, so her heart probably didn’t literally melt, but the sentiment is the same.

And as far as John’s relationship with her girls goes, Briana told In Touch, “He’s so hands-on with Nova and Stella. And they both like John as well.” That’s always a good thing!

Long-Term Goals …
The Teen Mom star also previously told In Touch, “Things are progressively doing great. I still do see us together long-term.” We’ve got our fingers crossed, too.

Briana also revealed, “John and I have spoken about our timeline and we both think right now things are OK where we stand.”

No Rush!
But these lovebirds aren’t messing with a good thing. When it comes to her kids, Briana added that while she feels John would be a great father figure, “There is also no rush on that either. I just want the girls and him to continue to get to know each other.” That seems like a good plan.

That doesn’t mean this duo doesn’t have its challenges. For instance, Briana resides in Florida and John lives in New York. That could definitely put some pressure on any relationship.

“Obviously, we both want the same thing, we want to live together, start a family and so on and so forth, but there is no rush,” she noted.

In January 2019, Briana talked about what she’s learned from her previous relationships. “I’ve had some bad relationships in the past and I’ve learned a ton from them and I’m applying all those lessons to my relationship with John,” she revealed to In Touch.

But it’s not all bad! Briana seems to successfully co-parent with Devoin Austin, Nova’s father.

Briana shares Stella with Luis Hernandez. Hopefully, if John stays in the picture as it sounds like he might for the long haul, all of the parents involved in these kids lives can get along and focus on the well-being of Briana’s girls.
