‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Briana DeJesus’s Family Has Given Her Boyfriend, John, Their Seal of Approval

Briana and her boo have been pretty private.

Though they started dating at the end of summer in 2018, the Teen Mom star only began to open up about her relationship in January 2019, hinting that he just may become baby daddy No. 3 one day.

The two are too cute.

Though they’re currently long-distance, they make our hearts melt whenever we see them together. “I’m very happy and my relationship with him is in such a good place,” Briana told In Touch in January.

She can already hear wedding bells.

“We play things safe but I definitely do see this lasting. I can see him being my husband one day,” she continued. “And I’d love to have kids with him at some point but we are not in any rush.”

John is a total change of pace from her past boyfriends.

“I’ve had some bad relationships in the past and I’ve learned a ton from them and I’m applying all those lessons to my relationship with Johnny,” she admitted. “I want this to last and we’re taking it at the appropriate pace and I’m excited to see what the future holds.”

In February, she gave another update.

A month later, things were still going great between her and John. “I still do see us together long-term,” she told In Touch. “John and I have spoken about our timeline and we both think right now things are OK where we stand.”

The couple is on the same page.

“We both want the same thing,” she confided in In Touch. “We want to live together, start a family and so on and so forth.” For now, though, they’re happy to move slowly — but they know what they’re moving toward.

John would be a great dad.

In addition to hoping that they’ll one day start a family of their own, the star also revealed that she thinks her man would be a “great father figure” for daughters Nova and Stella. “He’s so hands-on with [them],” she told In Touch. “And they both like John as well.”

But her daughters aren’t the only important family members.

It’s important to Briana that her mom and sister are on board with her relationship as well as her daughters. And they’re a big part of her life. When Stella had to undergo surgery recently, Roxanne and Brittany really stepped up to the plate to help.

Briana says John’s gotten the family’s approval.

“My mother and sister have met him and they have only good things to say about him,” she told In Touch in a new interview. “They definitely like him.” That seems like a good omen in their relationship to us.

All the DeJesus girls are into John.

It sounds like the MTV star has gotten all of her family members on board with her relationship, which is a good sign that the couple really will be able to go go the distance.

Not all of Bri’s past relationships have been healthy.

The star savagely shaded ex Javi in late February and blasted baby daddy Luis Hernandez the month before. “I wanted Stella to have an active father figure in her life and I knew I was going to get the complete opposite. And then I’ll be the s–tty parent if I decide to cut all ties. SMH,” she tweeted on January 21.

She had harsh words for Javi.

“[He] is never the topic of conversation and nobody cares about him anymore,” she told In Touch on February 25, not holding anything back. “He needs to stay in the past!”

Luckily, things seem to be better now.

Between her relationship with John going well and getting to film with her show bestie, her costar Jenelle Evans, it seems like Briana is in a good place in her life.

We can’t wait to see the two moms spill the tea.

“[Jenelle] is staying [in Florida] for three days to talk and catch up,” a source told Radar Online, revealing that the North Carolina native would be going on a trip to visit her friend a few states south.

What will Jenelle think of Bri’s new man?

John’s been given the thumbs up by Roxanne, Brittany, Nova, and Stella. Now, he just needs to get Briana’s friends on his side. Think he’ll also fly down to meet Jenelle while she’s in town? We can’t wait to find out.
