’90 Day Fiance’ Star Geoffrey Proposes to Varya Once Again — and This Time, She Says Yes
Take two! 90 Day Fiancé star Geoffrey Paschel’s first proposal to Varya Malina didn’t exactly go well, but it looks like the second time was the charm. The Tennessee native popped the question once more on Before the 90 Days after his ex flew across the world to win him back — and, this time, she said yes.
Though Geoffrey, 41, was the one who got down on one knee, Varya, 30, was the first to bring up the subject of an engagement. Once she met his children and reminded him how good their relationship was together, the single dad knew his feelings for the radio host were real. He also knew their love was stronger than the relationship he shared with his new girlfriend, Mary. After they established they were on again, Varya asked if she could have her engagement ring back.
The actual proposal was even more romantic as Geoffrey took Varya to a local landmark with a wishing well. Together, they each made a wish, which folklore said would be granted by magical creatures. When the Russian beauty opened her eyes, her fiancé was kneeling in front of her with a diamond ring. “Varya, I didn’t realize how much I truly loved you and how much I truly missed you until you said ‘surprise’ at my doorstep,” he told her. “I made a wish and the wish was for you to be a part of my family. … Will you marry me?”
Instead of a “not now,” this time Varya answered with a resounding yes. As it turns out, her wish was for the same thing. “I wrote in Russian, ‘I wish [for] the happiest family with Geoffrey,’” she gushed to the cameras. “The creatures can read the paper in Russian!”
But are there actually wedding bells in the couple’s future? Geoffrey may have swept Varya into his arms and walked off into the sunset on this episode, but there’s even more drama to come. Both stars have promised to share their own tell-all after the season — and the father appears to have reunited with Mary off screen. However, neither TLC personality participated in the show’s virtual reunion finale, meaning they didn’t appear in any of the leaked footage. It seems like we’ll have to wait to see just how this romance played out.
