He’s setting the record straight. 90 Day Fiancé star Jonathan Rivera shut down the rumors that he cheated on his estranged wife, Fernanda Flores, while they were still together. While taking to Instagram, the TLC star clarified that he met his new girlfriend after they had parted ways. “I never cheated on her. I met my girlfriend months after our separation,” the TLC alum wrote. As you may recall, Jonathan confirmed his separation with Fernanda during an interview with In Touch in January.

In his new statement, Jonathan also let it be known that he never “abused” Fernanda during the course of their relationship, explaining that he always treated her well.

“I never threatened her, I never neglected her. I gave her everything I had and treated her with nothing but respect,” the 90DF star continued.

Jonathan confessed that he was patient and only decided to give up on their romance when Fernanda, 20, showed him “who she really was.”

From this point forward, Jon said that he will no longer be responding to any more “outrageous allegations.”

And that’s not all. The TLC alum confirmed that he’s officially signed the divorce papers. “I am happy and moving on with my life,” he concluded.
