Good vibes only. Little People, Big World star Zach Roloff spoke candidly about his parents, Matt and Amy Roloff, and their dynamic post-split, revealing “they’re getting along fine,” but “probably” won’t be going on double dates with their new partners anytime soon. The TLC alum said his mom and dad have been in the process of figuring out the farm deal.

“My mom’s transitioning off and everything, and you’ll see that in the upcoming season,” the father of two, 29, told Us Weekly in an interview published on Monday, April 13. “It’s an ongoing discussion for them, but I think they’re dealing with it as best they can, being a divorced couple, but also business partners still … It’s not like they can’t be in the same room together.”

Amy, 55, is preparing to exchange her vows with fiancé, Chris Marek, having announced the news about their nuptials in September 2019. He popped the question to the TV personality the night before her birthday, making it an extra special evening.

Matt, 58, has also been going strong with his girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, and she actually worked for the former couple on their farm before a romance blossomed between her and Matt. Unfortunately, their connection was a source of tension for Amy.

“I believe — this is all from my perspective — that there was more than just friends going on,” she said in a resurfaced Facebook Live video back in March 2019. “I think that evolved to a point where that got in the way of our marriage as well.”

The exes were married for nearly three decades, from 1987 to 2016. On the bright side, Matt and Amy have since put their differences aside for the sake of the brood. “There’s a bigger goal in mind now with the grandbabies,” Zach proudly revealed. “Everyone wants to set up a positive environment for them, so everyone gets along as what they need to.”

Zach also had nothing but great things to say about his mom’s future husband. “She has a companion she will be with for probably the rest of her life. Chris is a great guy,” he shared. “We play board games together all the time and we just see eye to eye on a lot of things.”
