Why Aren’t ’90 Day Fiance’ Stars Geoffrey and Varya on the ‘Before the 90 Days’ Tell-All?
Fans were surprised when both 90 Day Fiancé stars Geoffrey Paschel and Varya Malina were missing from the first part of the Before the 90 Days tell-all on Sunday, June 7. But why weren’t they included? As it turns out, the Tennessee native’s assault charges kept him off camera — and the Russian radio host decided she also wouldn’t participate out of solidarity.
“I’m not sad that I wasn’t on it,” Geoffrey, 41, said during an Instagram Live with Rocco Straz, costar Lisa Hamme’s rep. “The mentality of keeping me off the tell-all because somebody said something is the most absurd thing I’ve ever heard in my life. … I want my court case to be over with, and as soon as my court case is over with, then my life will proceed. My life is going fine now, don’t think that I’m holding back on anything. But it’s the ‘he said, she said crap,’” he told fans. “But I’m prepared. I did my homework, and I’m — I was the one who was there, you know.”
The star thinks it’s unfair he wasn’t given the opportunity to clear his name — and he also thinks it’s unfair that fans are left “on a cliff-hanger like that” about the state of his relationships with both Varya and Mary, the friend he started dating after his breakup. “Obviously, nobody else is together,” he continued. “Obviously there’s a chance that I’m still together with Varya, or even with Mary. Whomever. To leave them like that and then tell me that I’m not allowed to say anything is really strange unless they have bigger plans, which I’m not aware of.”
However, that doesn’t mean fans will never find out the truth. Geoffrey and Varya promised supporters their own tell-all, and the brunette beauty has already started speaking out on social media. In a video shared on YouTube, she spilled behind-the-scenes details about her first confrontation with Mary, assuring viewers nothing was “staged.” And you can expect that the former couple will have even more to say together. “Cheers to going in as [a] team and going out as one,” Geoffrey wrote on Instagram on May 31. “#Respect for each other regardless of the outcome. Take notes; that’s how it should be done.”
