TMOG’s Cory Wharton Slams Taylor Selfridge Breakup Rumors With New Family Photos: ‘She’s Still Mine’
Still going strong! Teen Mom OG star Cory Wharton shut down rumors that he and Taylor Selfridge split while sharing new photos of his beautiful, blended brood.
“We’re BACK!!!! Let me start by saying thank you to everyone for all the support you’ve been showing my family and I,” the father of two, 29, wrote via Instagram on Thursday, November 12, following Taylor’s exit from the MTV franchise in June.
Cory was all smiles in the portraits with Taylor, 26, their 7-month-old daughter, Mila Mae, and his 3-year-old daughter, Ryder, shared with ex Cheyenne Floyd.
“Over the time of me being away I realized, I don’t want to take the little things in life for granted,” the TV personality continued his announcement. “I look forward to sharing with you guys some of the exciting projects we have coming up so just stay tuned. Please believe baby the Wharton family is back!!!”
Cory shut down breakup speculation shortly after Taylor shared one of the snaps to her Instagram page with the caption, “My heart is so full.” The Grand Rapids, Michigan, native assured fans there is no trouble in paradise by commenting, “And … We’re back, yes, EVERYBODY SHE’S STILL MINE” with purple heart emojis.
It’s been a whirlwind year for the former Ex on the Beach stars. Not only did they welcome a baby girl together, but they also weathered some controversy. Over the summer, Cory spoke out following Taylor’s firing after her racially charged tweets resurfaced.
“One of my favorite athletes of all-time is Kobe Bryant and one of his favorite philosophies is ‘control what you can control.’ What I can’t control, though, is the decisions that MTV as a company has made,” he told Us Weekly. “To those of you that were ready to watch the [birth] special, I want to say thank you for your support. I have such an amazing community that supports me, my family and my daughters.” Cory also confirmed he did not part ways with the network.
Prior to that, Taylor issued her own statement about the incident and apologized for her behavior. “My past does not define who I am today and I hope you guys can see the change,” she wrote in her candid message on Instagram Stories. “Please respect my decision to provide a normal, healthy life for my family.”
