Coparenting is always complicated, but Cheyenne Floyd reveals things are going “great” with her and Cory Wharton. The Teen Mom OG star, who teamed up with Jack in the Box for the first-ever National Text Your Ex for Jack Day, exclusively gave In Touch an update about where she and her ex stand on Thursday, August 20.

“Coparenting always has its ups and downs, but we make it work for Ryder,” Cheyenne, 27, dishes. “We have mutual respect for each other, communicate well and practice forgiveness.”

The parents are doing the best they can amid the ongoing coronavirus crisis, which they’ve been particularly careful about because of their toddler’s health issues. Ryder has a rare congenital condition called VLCAD deficiency, “a condition in which the body is unable to properly breakdown certain fats (called very long-chain fatty acids) into energy, particularly during periods without food (fasting).” Because of her diagnosis, she’s immunocompromised, so the family is being especially cautious.

The stars are still finding ways for Ryder to have fun at home, though — and that includes taking on TikTok challenges and playing with her new baby sister, Mila Mae. Cory, 29, and current girlfriend Taylor Selfridge welcomed their daughter in April, and they’ve been enjoying their new lives as an even bigger family, which includes Cheyenne. Despite their past problems, the MTV mama and her ex’s girlfriend have made peace as they navigate their new family life.

“We’re good,” Cheyenne told In Touch in April. “We communicate. … She’s really good with Ryder, Ryder loves her.” She revealed they no longer “have any problems” and there’s “no drama” between them. “We sit and talk s–t about Cory,” she joked.

Everyone’s moving forward — but that doesn’t mean Cheyenne is looking for a romance of her own. In April, she told In Touch she’s “happily single” after calling it quits with ex Matt Walker. “I’m not focused on dating,” she said. “If it happens then, you know, I’m open to it, but I’m not actively searching for anyone now.”

Text your ex, “I want Jack in the Box Spicy Chicken Strips,” and DM a screenshot of your ex’s responses with #SpicyStripsAreBack to Jack in the Box’s IG starting at 10:30 a.m. PT/1:30 p.m. ET for a chance to be one of 50 winners to receive a $50 Jack in the Box gift card.
