She’s done. Former Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evansannounced that she’s leaving Twitter after facing a lot of backlash on the social media platform in recent months. The 27-year-old shared one last message with her fans and her haters after trying to defend herself and her husband yet again from trolls — and she even hinted at a recent battle with depression. Scroll through the gallery below for details about Jenelle’s Twitter hiatus.
It started on Friday, August 9, when Jenelle took to Twitter to try to defend her husband, David Eason, after fans pointed out that he may have copied the name of his new blacksmith and craftsmanship business, Black River Forge, from another business based in Texas.

Once fans started to alert the small business on their Facebook page, they released a statement in regards to David’s new business.
“Black River Forge is a small cooperative of craftspeople, artists and hobbyists in central Texas – particularly those who specialize in hot metalwork and heavy machinery. Black River Forge was originally formed as a loose amalgamation of artists around 2012. In 2014 we formalized our group by registering as a Limited Liability Corporation in the state of Texas. While we have been undergoing some restructuring for the past couple of years during the rebuilding of our shop facilities and machinery, we have remained active outside of our public facing. David Eason is not currently, and has never been, a member of our cooperative. He has never had any affiliation with our group in any capacity. Until August 7th, 2019, we had never even heard of him. Any use of our name, graphics, likeness, or identity is done so entirely without our permission. We would prefer to avoid pursuing legal action, but are prepared to do so if necessary,” read the company’s statement.
“David’s company is NOT called Black River Forge. He has his trademarked name already and this is just a simple name for his Instagram Page. #SorryNotSorry 🤷🏻♀️😂,” Jenelle wrote.

“Black River is where David grew up and was raised in Currie, NC. He hasn’t sold any merchandise and doesn’t even have an online store yet. Y’all hating just to hate. Jumping into conclusions so soon. 😂🤦🏻♀️ #Idiots,” she continued. But the Instagram page that David created with the username ” @blackriverforge” has since been removed from the social media platform.

Jenelle also defended herself amid rumors that she threw away her son Kaiser’s favorite toys, which obviously upset the 5-year-old.

“FYI: I didn’t ‘throw’ my kids toys away. They are still in their rooms and we are donating them to Goodwill like we always do with toys and clothes. 👌🏼💓,” Jenelle added.

But of course, fans flooded Jenelle’s Twitter mentions and they expressed their anger with Jenelle and David after David’s horrific alleged dog killing incident back in April.

As fans recall, David was accused of shooting and killing the family’s French bulldog, Nugget, after the pup allegedly bit their daughter, Ensley on the face. After the incident, an anonymous caller alerted the local Child Protective Services. Shortly after that, CPS launched an investigation into Jenelle and David’s home and they removed Kaiser, Ensley and Maryssa (David’s 11-year-old daughter), from the couple’s care.

Jenelle and David only originally had full custody of Ensley, 2, Kaiser and Maryssa, which are only three out of their five children. Jenelle’s mother, Barbara, has full custody of her oldest son, Jace, from a previous relationship. Meanwhile, David does not have custody of his son, Kaden, from a previous relationship.

In May, the couple lost temporary custody of Maryssa, Ensley, and Kaiser but they were later granted full custody after they won a long court battle with CPS in July. But most Teen Mom fans feel that David and Jenelle should not have regained custody of their kids. They’re also upset because David and Jenelle still have dogs and other homestead animals on their property, and they are very vocal about their opinion about this on Jenelle’s social media.

In the replies to Jenelle’s tweets defending David and his new business, one fan commented, “He won’t sell any merchandise because who wants to support an animal killer? #Idiots.” Another wrote, “Your husband is a f–king idiot. He should name his company something with the word psychopath in it.”

It seems like all of the hate really hit a nerve with Jenelle, and she announced that she was leaving the social networking site. “Bye Twitter, everyone hates me. Depression sucks and you’ve got what you wanted. Hope you’re happy. Just keep writing about me, but I’m out. ✌🏼,” she wrote.
