Where Are ‘My 600-lb Life’ Stars Steven and Justin Assanti Now? Get an Update on the Brothers
Making strides one day at a time. Steven and Justin Assanti have intrigued viewers ever since they first appeared on My 600-lb Life. The brothers returned for a new episode of the hit TLC reality show and gave fans an update on how they are doing with their weight loss journeys.
This time, it was Justin’s turn to go under the knife and he was finally ready to go through with it. Justin said that he was prepared to move to Houston to get the same surgery that his brother had done a while back, but it required him to meet the goal weight that Dr. Now gave him. On top of that, he also needed to get “tested” in order to be approved for the procedure.
Steven offered to be there for Justin’s surgery, but it seemed like his brother wasn’t too keen on the idea. “There are a lot of things I’m not looking forward to right now,” Justin said while chatting with the camera crew. “There’s a part of me that just wants to forget about going down, and I’m not happy Steven’s going to be around because I know he’s just going to try to annoy me.”
“I want to be done and move back up here to Rhode Island and get as far away from Steven again as possible,” Justin added. Steven has been one of the most controversial stars on the show, as he used to throw tantrums, secretly order take out, abuse painkillers and go off on YouTube rants. Since then, it’s seems he’s found happiness, but it’s obvious he’s not the closest with his brother.
Steven tied the knot with his wife, Stephanie, during a romantic ceremony in 2018 and he hasn’t been shy about his feelings for her. “I want everyone to continue to know your the reason why I look forward to my future, our future and I hope it grows bigger, your the best baby real talk. Keepin ten toes down fellas,” he wrote about his blushing bride in February of that year.
As for Justin, he reportedly relocated and is back in Rhode Island now. Not long ago, the reality star gave an update on his life during a candid “Ask Me Anything” on Reddit, which has since been deleted. Justin revealed that he lost an impressive 200 pounds since filming, and is focused on keeping his business, Hobby Haven, thriving while he continues to work on his health.
