Wedded bliss! Steven Assanti made a splash while appearing on My 600-lb Life. Only a few months ago, it was revealed the controversial reality star married a massage therapist from Iowa. Steven’s wife Stephanie Sanger said “things are going well,” while chatting with Starcasm and revealed they’ve been “busy getting ready for the holidays.” The two were last all cuddled up while posing for a PDA snap in October. Stephanie and Steven have reportedly been romantically involved for 10 months and they even decided to get matching ink. “He sees all my light,” the message reads in cursive on her forearm, while his says, “she loves all my dark.”
Stephanie changed her profile picture to one with Steven back in May, around the time they wed, and made sure to show off her dazzling new ring. This summer, she also opened up about what made her fall for him. “His face his eyes and hair I think he’s beautiful,” Stephanie told the site.
“Beauty is skin deep and he has a heart of gold….[Steven is] nothing like how he was perceived on the TV show at all or on his YouTube videos. He’s a gentlemen and a fantastic lover and lover of life in general.”
While the two seem head-over-heels for one another, commenters questioned their relationship and some even speculated she was a catfish. However, clearly that’s not the case. Steven started his weight loss journey at 734 pounds and has reportedly lost 57 pounds. At the time, he was faced with backlash for throwing tantrums, going off on controversial YouTube rants, and more. As far as the future goes, we’ll have to see if Steven appears on an upcoming Where Are They Now? episode, but it looks like he and Stephanie are enjoying their quiet life.
