She’s a fighter. Teen Mom OG star Mackenzie McKee‘s mom, Angie Douthit, shared another update on her cancer battle via Instagram on December 3, and admitted that a recent procedure had her feeling a little worn out. She also gave an update about her fight with cancer on the MTV show back in September and revealed that she only has six months to live. But Angie seems to be going strong so far. Low
Angie began her update with a Bible quote. “Isaiah 54:17 ‘no weapon forged against you will prosper.’ Well, once again I had low red blood cells. They are even worse than last week,” she shared.

Worn Out
“Therefore, I needed two units of blood,” she continued. “It was a long day. I started at the chemo lab at 2 p.m. I finished at the transfusion lab at 8 p.m. Yes, I was tired. It’s funny how sitting still can wear [you] out.”

Praise
Angie got very spiritual with the rest of her caption. “I walked out of the hospital and l looked up,” she added. “There, on top of a hill, was a beautiful Christmas tree and an amazing cross. I forgot all about my crazy day and I started praising God.”

“No Miracle”
Previously, it was revealed that Angie’s cancer had returned and she had five inoperable masses in her brain as well as a large mass on her lung. In an episode of Teen Mom OG, she said her doctors told her she had just six months left to live. “I wanted to tell you I was better. But they told me that it’s in both femurs,” she revealed.
And in an interview with Radar Online on August 21, Mackenzie, 25, said, “We just got the news yesterday that her blood counts are too low to continue with chemo … There has been no miracle, but she is still with us.”

Faith?
When Angie explained to the Teen Mom reunion host, Dr. Drew, that she had stage 4 “non-small cell carcinoma” in her lungs as well as “small cell carcinoma in my lungs,” the host asked Mackenzie if she had the same faith in God her mom did about the situation. The reality star said she did, and that she’s not ready to lose her mom.

Healing
Just a day before Angie posted her update, Mackenzie shared some thoughts about her mom’s health on Twitter. “I remember my senior year we had to go around and say if we had any superpower what would it be,” she began. “Everyone’s was time travel, to fly, strength, etc. Mine randomly was to be able to heal the sick.”

No Idea
“I had no clue what my future held and that the healthiest person I knew would be the one suffering stage four cancer,” she continued.
