Lance Bass Cuts Business Ties With ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Star Jax Taylor Amid Racism Accusations
Lance Bass is cutting ties with Vanderpump Rules star Jax Taylor after they recently started their cocktail mixer business, Just Add X.
“He’s stepping down from Just Add X, which you know, we have to,” the former ’NSync singer, 44, explained on “The Daily Popcast with Lance Bass.” “We can’t be involved and associated with any of this going down. We have to do the right thing.”
The podcast host believes Jax will be the next Bravo star to get the boot due to his previous racist behavior. “I do not see Bravo keeping him,” he revealed.
He continued, “I have a feeling soon this will be done. It gets bigger and bigger.” Chiming in, Lance’s husband, Michael “Turkey” Turchin added the network “can’t keep” Jax after they fired Kristen Doute and Stassi Schroeder following their alleged racist behavior to former castmate Faith Stowers.
Faith claimed Stassi, Kristen and Jax reported her to the police for a crime she was not involved with in 2017. At the time, the husband to Brittany Cartwright tweeted, “She’s wanted by the police for grand theft auto and ‘awol’ from military, bad idea to be on a reality show dude. Someone’s going to jail.”
Additionally, Jax was slammed by 90 Day Fiancé star Ashley Martson for commenting on the size of husband Jay Smith’s nose in a 2018 social media post.
Despite the resurgence in the Black Lives Matter movement and the unfortunate fate of his costars, Lance claims Jax still does not see the error in his ways. “I actually had a conversation about this yesterday, and I feel like I’m the only person he heard it from,” Lance said on his podcast. “He’s like, ‘I don’t understand this big nose thing.’ He goes, ‘Jewish people have big noses.’ Yeah — you can’t make fun of Jewish people or black people by their nose.”
He continued, “The fact that a grown man in his 40s doesn’t know now that it’s racist to comment on a black person’s big nose, especially on a public platform for everyone to see? There’s no excuse for that. You know that’s wrong.”
Although Jax “has been a loose wire since the show’s inception,” Lisa Vanderpump is worried he could be the next to go, an insider exclusively told In Touch. “Bravo, like other networks, was known for encouraging bad behavior from their stars and now they have to look at everything with new eyes. It’s a wake-up call [for everyone].”
