Kris Jenner Denies Setting Up SoulCycle Run-In Between Khloé Kardashian and Ex Lamar Odom in 2015

Kris Jenner denied that she orchestrated the run-in between Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom at SoulCycle in 2015 during the Sunday, October 27, episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. “It was a huge deal at the time because Lamar popped up at one of Khloé’s classes, and it caused a big commotion,” she said. “Khloé blames me, thinking that I told him where she was going to be, and that never happened. I tried to do damage control because I know when Khloé sees this, it’s going to set her off again.” Lamar previously claimed in his memoir, Darkness to Light, that Kris was the mastermind behind the scheme.
The 35-year-old beauty explained why she didn’t believe her mother’s side of the story during a conversation with her sister Kim Kardashian. “In the book, he’s saying how my mom did tell him where to go,” she said. “It’s exactly what I thought happened, at which she denied to me forever. There’s no way he could have followed me. How would he know I’m at SoulCycle in Beverly Hills at 6 a.m.? It doesn’t bother me, but why lie about it?”
The Revenge Body host added, “This whole SoulCycle situation — this is after mine and Lamar’s divorce. The only reason why I feel like my mom did disclose my whereabouts because how would Lamar know where I am going at 5:30 in the morning, and I don’t think my mom realized the severity of the emotional distress Lamar was on during that time. And I think she just kind of retreated and got nervous to admit that she potentially could’ve put me in harm’s way, and so she is just denying it.”
Throughout the episode, Khloé called her mom, but Kris was intentionally screening her calls. “Lamar wrote a book, he mentions SoulCycle and he says I told him where Khloé was,” Kris said during her confessional. “Everything is always my fault.” However, the Good American designer had moved on from the incident and wanted Kris to reveal the truth. “First of all, it was 600 years ago,” KoKo said. “I don’t give a s—t, especially for you to ignore me and not speak to me.”
Later on, Scott Disick pretended to have the flu so Khloé could finally confront her mom. “I really can’t believe that you would avoid me over something that happened so many years ago,” Khloé said. “I’m completely over it, I’ve been over it.” But Kris still stood her ground, saying, “Didn’t do it. Deny ‘til we die.”
Khloé and Lamar, 39, got married in September 2009 but called it quits in 2013 amid cheating rumors. After the athlete overdosed at a brothel in Nevada, the couple reconciled. Ultimately, Khlo filed for divorce — again — in 2016, and it was finalized in December of that year.
The E! personality also revealed Lamar was interested in seeing her for the first time since 2016, but she was hesitant about hanging out. “I, like, miss him all the time but not in a place where I want to get back with him,” she said during the episode. “I really don’t know what the right thing to do in this situation is — I don’t want to mislead him in any way. But I would like to meet with him. I see that he has a girlfriend, and I don’t want to be disrespectful and reach out. He seems really happy, and that chapter is closed for him and I.”
