Khloé Kardashian Reveals She Misses Ex Lamar Odom ‘All the Time’ but Doesn’t Want to ‘Mislead Him’
Sticky situation. Khloé Kardashian was worried about misleading her ex-husband, Lamar Odom, the starlet revealed in a new trailer for Keeping Up With the Kardashians. She dished that the basketball player was interested in seeing her for the first time since their divorce in 2016. However, the Good American founder was apprehensive and sought advice from her sisters Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian on what to do.
“I, like, miss him all the time but not in a place where I want to get back with him,” the 35-year-old began her story about receiving a call from her ex, 39, in a teaser released on October 24. “So, he called me and was like, ‘I just knew we were all going to talk again at some point. I’m just so happy.’ He was like, ‘I would love to see you. I’ve been dying to see you in person. I just feel like we have so much to talk about.'”
Khloé officially filed for divorce from Lamar in 2013 after cheating allegations, which he later owned up to in his memoir. Their split was postponed in 2015 after the athlete overdosed at a brothel in Nevada and the couple had brief reconciliation. He slid back into his old ways and the reality starlet filed for divorce again and it was finalzied in December 2016.
It turns out, the Revenge Body host doesn’t regret leaving their tumultuous marriage. “I always felt after … this overdose, I did everything in my power to, like, be there through sickness and health and once I saw that he wasn’t in the headspace to really want to change his bad situation, then I was fine letting him go,” she explained. “I never thought twice about it and why we stopped talking or anything like that.”
Kim was supportive of KoKo rekindling a friendly relationship with the Dancing With the Stars contestant. “I mean, I think it would be nice if you guys had a face-to-face after all these years. I just feel like maybe you have to get that out,” the Skims founder advised. “I’m happy to be there with you if you want,” she also offered. Kourtney’s advice was simple: “Life is short.”
While the blonde beauty confessed that she would be interested in catching up with NBA star, she didn’t want him to believe that they could get back to how things used to be. “It feels really good to have a decent, nice conversation with Lamar but, you know, I don’t really know what the right thing to do is in this situation,” the reality babe acknowledged in a private interview. “I don’t want to mislead him in any way but I would like to meet with him.”
These days, Khloé is single and focusing on raising her daughter True Thompson — whom she shares with ex Tristan Thompson. Lamar went public with his new girlfriend Sabrina Parr in August. Although the exes have publicly applauded each other, the athlete exclusively confessed exclusively to In Touch that they don’t speak anymore.
It looks like Khloé is keeping her sights set on the future!
