Baby No. 2 will be here soon, Jinger Vuolo (née Duggar) gushed in her latest pregnancy update. In a post shared Thursday, August 27, the Counting On star revealed it was the “first day of [the] last trimester” of her pregnancy. Though she and husband Jeremy Vuolo recently dealt with some family drama thanks to an insensitive tweet from the pastor, she shared they’re still going strong as they prepare to welcome their second daughter.

“28 weeks update: Daily naps are still happening, and I’m feeling lots of kicks from baby girl (thinking she might be a soccer player like her daddy),” Jinger, 26, wrote. “Big sister [Felicity is] keeping mommy on her toes and is always eager to join me for a workout. Daddy is staying busy with Seminary studies and always looks forward to coming home to a dance off with Lissy.”

The soon-to-be mom of two also paid tribute to the son or daughter she lost in the fall of 2019. “Recounting God’s kindness each day in blessing us with this precious baby after the miscarriage we walked through last November,” she continued. “God does all things well.”

Jinger looked stunning in the photo she shared as she flaunted her baby bump. She also looked excited to find out if the little girl will follow in mommy or daddy’s footsteps. Jeremy, 32, was a professional soccer player for the New York Red Bulls in the MLS, and he’s already taken Felicity, 2, out onto the field to work on her sports skills.

However, the parents recently found themselves at odds after the former athlete shared an insensitive post on social media. After seeing a video of a dog rescuing a grasshopper from a pool, he tweeted, “Would you rather: a) Drown in a swimming pool; or b) Be crushed by the jaws and teeth of a massive dog-like creature that is 4000x bigger than you? I know, it’s a tough one.”

For many, the post brought to mind Grandma Mary Duggar’s death. In June 2019, Jim Bob Duggar’s mom suddenly died after she fell into her pool and drowned. Jinger and her grandmother were particularly close, and fans speculated that Jeremy’s tweet might be upsetting for her. While she didn’t speak out publicly, her husband deleted the post and issued a public apology.

“Yesterday, I retweeted a nature video and made a comment about a grasshopper drowning in a pool. I was not thinking about what happened last summer and, as soon as I realized how insensitive it was, I took it down,” he wrote. “I asked my wife [and] in-laws to forgive me, [and] I hope you will, as well.”
